I filled up the personal and other details in the online registration form, prior to the entrance test. The entrance test is conducted in 2 parts and the shortlisted candidates are announced on the official website of IICD.
Candidates were expected to apply online or offline with the required information. Foreign Nationals / NRI Category candidates were required to submit a Statement of Purpose. Eligible candidates appeared for the IICD Entrance Test which was conducted by the college. Shortlisted candidates were called for personal interview based on the score obtained in IICD Entrance Test.
The course is offered in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Students must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board and institution. I applied online through the official website.
Only those students can apply for the course who have completed their bachelor's in relevant course. I gave their entrance exam which was then followed by an interview for final selection of the students.
There was an entrance examination based on the fashion craft conducted by the University. After clearing that exam I apply to the college and got through the second stage that is the interview session. The interview round mainly consisted of counselling and asking why do we have interest in this field. After that selection I got selected for the combined course.
The students can apply online to enroll in the course and they have to clear the personal interview round along with they should have 50% of aggregate marks in the 10+2 to take admission in the IICD and submit the documents.

After completing my 12th I chose a different path. To enhance my art skills as well as creativity and innovation I decided to admit in well known institute in Rajasthan Indian Institute of Crafts and Design - [IICD]. The admission process was quite complicated. First entrance exam was taken by the IICD then after a personal interview you will get admission here. I qualified both the rounds and admitted for B. Voc. In fashion designing in the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design - [IICD].
One amazing thing about IICD is that the industry exposure that it provides to it's students, a number of international students also come to this amazing college for studying. being a student I can tell you this that IICD is the right place to be at if you want to pursue a career in arts and craft.
The admissions to IICD are no joke, you have to go through a multi level process, the first step being an entrance exam, the next being an conceptual test and the final being the personal interview. I cracked all the three stages and managed to get admission into this amazing college.
