Remarks

One amazing thing about IICD is that the industry exposure that it provides to it's students, a number of international students also come to this amazing college for studying. being a student I can tell you this that IICD is the right place to be at if you want to pursue a career in arts and craft.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great, the course has been designed in such a manner that it promotes and nurtures are latent creativity and helps us to enhance our artistic skills to the limit, skill tests and theory tests are held every 6 months.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are amazing, last year the average placements for my course were around rupees 5.5-6 lakhs per annum, the average stipend being 25k. The students also attend career fair and seminars to help them get employed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is flexible as well as feasible, with the total fees being rupees ?2.96 Lakhs per year and the total course fees rupees 6 lakhs, the fees comes out to be optimally set as the college provides great facilities.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are highly promoted at IICD as a number cultural student clubs are present like dance, fashion, dramatics and many more. Students have also made debating clubs. I personally suggest you to join one of these clubs to enjoy your college experience.

Admission

The students have to write an entrance exam conducted by Indian Institute of Craft and Design for admission into the M.Voc course , after qualifying the exam you have to be present for the interview round on a specified date. I worked really hard and cracked all the rounds to guarantee an admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is good, the professors have been in the field of arts since decades and teach us with utmost sincerity , they ensure that we understand each and every concept properly and thus keep regular doubt sessions.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Most of the companies that visit the college are local companies and they do not pay more than 20,000 per month to a student. The average package for campus placements is 2,50,000 per annum. Although a decent amount of students get the placement, a lot of them reject the placement because of their dissatisfaction with the salary. I myself am focussing on off-campus placement.
