College experience @Horti

Likes

The campus and infrastructure, labs are well equipped. The college consists of three canteens.
The faculty are experts in their own field, they are easily approachable for clearing our doubts

Dislikes

Very hot climate during summer and classrooms and situated in various blocks and it is difficult to move around
Difficulty to find a good hotel or other shops nearby the university.

Campus Life:

The arts festival is gently carried out here, every year the university union will conduct an Intercollegiate arts festival and the winner is rewarded with a golden lady trophy. The library is well-managed and has a lot of books. Media club, film club, nature club, social service league, cultural club are some of the clubs

Agri- An interesting course

Likes

The faculty is very well experienced and sincere, and almost all facilities are available here
Hostel curfew upto 9.30 pm. They provide quality food and accommodation.

Dislikes

Curfew time for girls, less campus placements.
Classroom studies are exhausting and my suggestion is to increase more field experience since the course is related to agriculture

Campus Life:

Interclass and intercollegiate arts festivals are conducted every year, and lot of other fests conducted by students unions are also there. And the college has grounds suitable for sports activities also. Clubs run by the students are also present

I am happy after Bsc Agri.

Likes

I have liked my course because of its exposure towards the farmers.I have enjoyed my campus life
I have liked the hostel facilities and ground facilities.

Dislikes

I didn't like the exams as there are so many of them
During online time our university was careless and our 3 months were wasted.

Campus Life:

There are arts and sports festivals which are conducted regularly on the University level.These are also conducted in college level.The qualified students can perform in higher levels such as south zone and Inter agri.There are lots of books available in Central Library.The class rooms have projectors and other technical aspects.There is National Service Scheme in the College.

Likes

Good college life, enjoyed the campus life and its exposure
Has many tours and programmes which makes the course interesting

Dislikes

Placement opportunities are less and irregular.
Infrastructure facilities in the hostel is old and need maintenance

Love your profession and your college

Likes

Beautiful and peacefull campus with large play ground.
Campus is occupied with advance level gym complex.

Dislikes

Some what tight academic shedule and exams.
Lack of good trainers for sports and other physical activities

Campus Life:

The campus provide many facilities like library, have both central and college library, gym complex, play ground etc. There are many extra curricular activities are held under various club like sports, Arts fest, onam celebration, christhmas, holy, ifthar meets, career guidance and also various subject matterd programs.

My opinion

Likes

Campus is very good. It is very vast for exploring
The ground is another factor. We play football and volleyball at evenings

Dislikes

Rearing and pest box, herbarium , record
The course is too tight. We were corona batch.so we were late for joining. It congested our couse

Campus Life:

The campus life is wonderful. Students union conducts various programs on occasions. Onam holi Christmas and New year union day ethnic day environmental day iftar party etc are conducted. Film fest was conducted last year. We have 2 libraries. Collage library and Central library. Both are accessible for the students. All classrooms have protectors. Sports and arts are of great importance. Intercollegiate arts and sports are conducted on our college. We are the 9 times holders of golden lady ( intercollegiate arts first trophy). We have an active nss club in oru college

COH Vellanikkara- for Excellent educational experience

Campus Life:

College level arts, sports, athletics, cricket match, volleyball, football etc are being conducted every year. I am proud to say that my college is the winner of university level arts festival continuously for 8 times. Active alumni association is also working as part of the campus and actively involving in social services. As it is a university campus, university central library is situated in our campus with full of books-both academic and entertainment. All the classrooms are smart ones.

Campus Life:

The campus provide a very ecofriendly campuss life for all the students. 3:1 (female:male) is the gender ratio. There is campus politics in the campus in good limits. There is NSS unit working acting in the campus. There is various clubs like social service club, environmental club, readers forum, arts club, sports club, etc to enhanc the student activities.

Campus Life:

Entire campus is more than 500 acre,Biggest library(central library),well equipped lab facilities,two basketball court,one football ground,many governement buliding associated to kerala agriculture dept,soil testing lab for farmers,central nursery of crops etc.
