06 Jul, 2025 BVC Mumbai UG Fee Structure 2025-2026 has been released. The total academic fee is ₹ 2.93 Lakhs. 

Bombay Veterinary College was established in 1886. It offers some of the best courses on veterinary science including B.V.Sc and M.V.Sc. Bombay Veterinary College offers admission to various courses at the UG and PG level. The admission process at Bombay Veterinary College is completely online. Admission for the UG courses is conducted on an Entrance Basis of the MAFSU examination.

For Post Graduate College admissions are conducted on a Merit Basis of the candidate’s score in 10+2 and Graduation. 

Bombay Veterinary College Ph.D admissions are based on the entrance test conducted by the Institute, those candidates who score above 50% (40% for reserved category) are offered admission. This is followed by the subsequent Personal Interview.

  1. The interested candidate can apply for admissions offline or offline. They can either collect the application form from the College administrative office or download from the Official website of the University.
  2. Application Fee can be done via demand draft of Rs. 500, (Rs. 300 for the reserved category), in favor of “Comptroller, MAFSU, Nagpur” payable at Nagpur.
  3. The form must contain details of the academic information such as marks secured in 10th, 12th, graduation and post-graduation and other general information regarding the applying candidate.

Overall a good college and a best course to pursue vetmed


Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

The overall course consist of total 18 subjects which are decided.as follow: 1st year- 3 subjects, 2nd year- 5 subjects, 3rd year -7 subjects , 4th year -4 subjects, The 3rd year includes 2 and 4th year includes only 1 practical subjects, The course is overall well designed

Campus internship opportunities and stipend

Our college offers an internship of 1 year which include 6 months in Mumbai at various center and the remaining 6 months in Maharashtra at remote areas as duty which offer stiphend of 15k approx I don't remember exactly. The internship Can be in GOA for 1 month.

Yearly fees of the course and hostel fees

The Bombay veterinary College provides a 5.5 yrs of course bachelor's in veterinary science including internship, the college is under MAFSU University and it is a goverment college , the college fees is 59,500 per year and hostel fees is 29500 including gym and maintenance fees, the ug campus is located in goregaon and the pg campus is located in Parel . The college faculty is strict and the attendance also .

Students views about the campus life

The college provides a wide variety of sports activities, annual gathering,spandan, freshers,najrana and other events like alumini meet once in 4 years . Spandan last for 3 days in which a celebrity is also invited the third day is dj night and the food is provided all three days.

On-campus living facilities

I typically live in hostel. The students per room are 3-4 .the room size is big and the room are provided with fan only . The new hostel are under construction and they will be available soon for the students.

Batch size of the course

The each year consist of an average of 100-110 students which is further devided into 4 batches the theory classes are conducted common and the practical are considered seperate for each batche. The college time for individual years are different usually from first to third year is from 8 to 4 and for fourth year it include OPD from 10 to 2

College competence

I basically wants to learn the small animal medicine and surgery and this college is best providing a wide range of pet and small animal . However the college also provide both small and large animals to study .it depend on the type of student whether he wants to study large or study small

Night Life

The hostel include gym also and there is canteen , a library for students to study . Students often go out in exam preparation time for tea and coffee to relax while preparing. library at hostel is open 24 hours . The hostel has a basketball court , a volleyball court and in backside a cricket ground is there.

The candidate should have a minimum qualification of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized Indian Board / University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST & BC categories) excluding optional subject. If you have not given the NEET, then you can also get admission based on the AIPVT.

Yes, admission to BVC Mumbai UG courses is done based on MHT-CET exam followed by State counselling to get selected.

 Admission for the UG courses is conducted on an Entrance Basis of the MAFSU examination. You can apply for the admission from the official website of the college.

Bombay Veterinary admissions to the UG courses are conducted on the basis of the MAFSU entrance examination and PG admission is done on a merit basis. Admissions to PhD are conducted on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the Institute.
