The campus is full of lush green trees due to which even sunny days feels cooler. the connectivity of the college is also very great with the city as it is not so far located.
Most of the faculty members are well talented and are Ph.D holders which makes us even more enthusiastic to learn.
The infrastructure of the college is very modern as compared to other colleges in Bangalore.
Dislikes
there is no proper dress code in the campus which sometimes makes us uncomfortable by looking at some students wearing an outfit over the line.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for college placements from the 7th semester. Also, students can get internships from college during 3rd semester itself.
There are many companies including MNCs for placements coming to our campus.
The highest package is 48L and is placed in Microsoft.
The average package is 18L.
76% of students get placed.
Get a package of min. 24L and then work for 2 years and then do a master's.
The university lifestyle, the infrastructure, everything, sports, MARENA its a sports block
Indore basketball stadium, the teaching, the availability of things
No raging, Co-education, hot girls, the campus Mart
Dislikes
LGBTQ Shity ass things, few immature people
Few old age teachers, The strict rules and regulations
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was more interested in this course, so that is the reason why chose this course. And at the same time my university is providing the Coursera at free of cose which is more benificial, and the exams are extremely difficult
The college has been started since three years now
Dislikes
Some of the infrastructure are yet to be built , which has been bad for the early batches but as of now (2024)
Placement Experience:
As of now the college hasn't had its first placement batch since it's been started since only three years, but it should mostly be in par with its parent college MAHE,manipal.
Bengaluru being an IT hub is also promising for internship and placement opportunities.
Overall the placements should be good enough as said by the management but the reality is yet to be seen .( As of 2024)
Positives - good faculties, good infrastructure, hostel is very secured , crowd is decent and well mannered.
Hostel food in mit is better than most of the hostels in bangalore
Time table for college is more convenient and has more freedom compared to other bangalore college
Dislikes
Hostel curfew is only till 9:30 , find of 500 rs will be imposed if arrived late after 9:30
No PG/ APARTMENTS. Within 3 km radius, bsf air force is right opposite to hostel so no highrise buildings.
No big complexes or shops nearby , small shops and majority of it being open land, which is pretty boring especially being 20kms away from the city and curfew being 9:30 , we miss a lot of fun.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester (4th year ).
Companies like Bosch, Microsoft, tcs ,ibm etc visit for placements
Students eligible for placements should have minimum 6 GPA above based on company requirements .. for a good company u need an average of 7.5 cgpa.
My plans after getting degree is to work for some time and do MBA along with it .
World-class infrastructure. The buildings and hostels are very well built with multiple lifts and stairs. The class rooms are also well lit with air conditioners. Plenty of greenery around the campus as well. Everything is close by, so easy accessibi
Some staff members are great. They have passion for teaching. The college management is also extremely cooperative. They'll try their best to solve any issue that you're facing. There's also 0 ragging in our college.
Peer groups are amazing at the college. They also conduct many fests and events during the college years which is great. Alongside this they've also balanced the academics well with regular tests and exams.
Dislikes
Staff. As I said above, some of the staff members are good while the others are terrible with no knowledge of the subject whatsoever.
Exams conducted are on the tougher side. Also, barely any gap between exams and before exams.
Fees. The fees is extremely high. Although it does seem worth the money, it really isn't. Paying 5L per year really does take a toll on your family if you're not from a rich background
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements in 4th year. Our placements are centralised with the main Manipal Campus.
Plenty of great companies have visited, Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc
Average package for the past 3 years has been above 20Lpa.
At least 90% students get placed.
All the classes are equiiped with smartboards and projectors, with ccts all around the campus , the campus is wifi covered, hostels are top class if compared to other colleges, u will get ample space in the hostels, all the hostels are newly built,
Student Snaps:
Placement Experience:
almost 95% of students get placed in top MNCs. the companies include - Accenture, Adani, aAndritzhydro, anglo easter, autorabit, Birla soft, bosch, Byju, Infosys, Capgemini, cognizant, connive, dell, Deloitte, Ericsson, Hitachi, hero, intel and many other more top companies. due to the location- Bangalore,
My idea of college life is life outside college life and MIT Bangalore gives us a great life beyond academics.
MIT technical club has developed a solar project which was presented to state government and they received immediate findings from government bodies.
The dramatic societies of MIT are known for partying wild and one needs that during their college lives.
Dislikes
The faculties are a little biased towards the Kannada students and this is the only drawback I have seen thus far.
Placement Experience:
MITs placements are impeccable as students gets placed in numbers. Once we enter the final year, the placements cell gets active and confirm with each and every student about their preferences. It is my personal recommendation that students should be in touch with placements cell as they are doing a great job in getting the students placed in organisation of their choice. From Infosys to L&T Infotech the college has tie ups with almost all the big names in IT Industry.
Firstly college faculty are highly qualified and experienced. So we can have a very good learning experience here.
Infrastructure of the college is good. The college is 125 acres large
Hostel are good and neat. Events will be more often if you are a hosteller...
Dislikes
The college is still left with some of the construction work as this is the new campus.
First batch of placements are yet to come this year...
Course Curriculum Overview:
I wanted to do my engineering in well known college and in the branch of Computer science. So I joined this college...
They have their own syllabus which come from the main branch (i.e, manipal).
Course curriculum and teaching methods are up to a high level..
The computers is the lab are all updated and have i7 and i9 processors
All the class rooms are air conditioned.
Dislikes
It is a relatively new campus and hence a lot of things are not developed
A lot of the campus is still under construction
Student clubs are not active as we are a new campus
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course covers all aspects of computer science like data structures, algorithms, and database systems and in our third year we'll go deeper into artificial intelligence and machine learning as well and get hands-on experience in the labs.
Teachers are approachable so you won't have to worry to get touch in them
The campus is very beautiful and banglore weather is different thing
Students are very good and nice in nature.
Dislikes
Hostel affordability since there is lot of students you need to try harder to get hostel.
If you are north Indian it would be hard to adjust in south environment
There could be a little discrimination between north and south people
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students are eligible for internship and placement.last 500+ offers were made for internship. The alumini is great here so student will get placed easily.this year the placement will actually start cause college has been started for only 3 years.i would prefer to do job after getting degree
