Likes

Few teachers are experienced and know how to deliver course content
Labs are well equipped with necessary apparatus
Good mentorship and guidance under the teachers you are assigned to

Dislikes

Few teachers require improvements in their language skills, as they know their subjects well but are unable to converstate and deliver their knowledge properly
Some north/south dispute and racism by southern teachers is evident in few cases

Admission:

MET is required to apply to this college, admission is given based on your rank. MET includes MIT Manipal, MIT Bengaluru, MUJ, SMIT. KCET is NOT accepted for Manipal colleges as other websites state, they only take addmission based on MET. There are 4-5 rounds depending on availability of seats and you have to choose an order of preference of courses and accordingly are given a seat. You can wait till the last round in case you do not get your desired course seat, as the one alloted will stay nonetheless

The accomodation is awesome and the girls to boys ratio per year may be like 45:55
We have a indoor sports complex in which we can play many sports and that is not for free
The classrooms, mess and the whole college ambience is very nice

Dislikes

Food will be a little trouble for someone who eats more salt and spice
Distance between college and hostel is so far
Hostels have so many floors and more strength but only 2 lifts are there

Admission:

The reason to choose this college is that the placement percentage here is better when compared with other colleges and the admission process is that there will be an entrance exam which will be held twice and we will be selected according to our ranks.

There are a lot of clubs where you can join to get the Best opportunities for your skills. You will be able to interact and learn a lot of things apart from your course. These clubs conduct lot of activities and workshops .
U get to interact with seniors and faculties . You can socialize more as it is co-ed and it does dont have much restrictions. You are free to go to library and grab the books of your choice. You get to make good friends in the hostel and outside
Marena is a sport building. You will have indoor courts, gym , and many more games. You will have auditions for getting selected in the team. There are a lot of sports teams in the college which will have tournaments and mathes with other colleges.

Dislikes

There is fee for marena. 2000 for gym and 1200 for 1 he badminton court everyday. I feel as we are already paying a lot of fee for the hotel we should be able to do the other things for free.
Constructions going on everywhere inside the campus. As mit ble is recently established like around 5 years back it has a lot of construction work left. There s sound dust always inside the campus.
There is entry fee for all the events conducted by the clubs. I feel if its a college event then it should be for free. It is our own college event. The is penalty fee for almost everything and also it is high. Makeups and backlogs are also high

Admission:

I have scored 94 percentile in my jee so i waited for second attempt and wanted govt colleges. I dint think mych of private colleges. After my jee second attempt results i have applied for counclling and was sure i wouldn't get the course i want in any of the top colleges. So i started writing entrance exams for met vit srm snu geetam dsu comedk emcet lpu and many more. Later after great research and suggestions from my siblings i decided to join in blr . I hve got scholarships in jain lpu satyabama dsu and few ap colleges through their entrances and jee results. The fee was decreased a lot i thought of joining jain but then my met councling of 1st round was over and i got cse ai . So i thought mit blr would be better for me than the main campus . Though the fee was high i convinced my parents and took admission. The eligibility of entrance exam was 12th pass and the give you met rank by seeing your 12 score and met score.

Firstly I like the college it’s huge and humongous and has a good exposure to build up a good career
My engagement Campus life Pretty well due to the exposure and have a good social interactions with everyone And which makes advantage in career advancement in future
Faculty Teach very good like It makes everyone understand in an instant and if you have a doubt we can approach them very quite easily

Dislikes

Competition to maintain CGPA is hard In the exams
There are numerous of clubs in technical and non-technical in which it makes disadvantage for a few people or many for not getting opportunities for the idea or work
They are Not has many food courts in the campus they are limited and not sufficient for now

Admission:

Colleges like srm vit bits which I have applied are some of the choices I choose and I also got confirmed admission from them but I rather choose MIT because one of the colleges tuition fee is too high compare to MIT and one of the colleges is in region where my parents dislike I am not only that I got rejected to an to a college name Woxsen in the interview round due to lack of technical skills I'm talking about my admission process of my college MIT Bangalore is that we need minimum 65 percentage in 12th boards and you need to apply for the college entrance exam name MET Manipal examination test which is the cost of ?5000 after writing the exam your rank is decided by considering 50% of your 12th boards percentage and 50% of your marks in the entrance exam and after you get a rank cut-off for a course stream is decided and is published then you are asked to through the stream by seeing the cut-off of the stream with respect to our rank after we select a stream you get a admission letter and asked to pay the tuition fee

The faculty is so good, except few. Overall it's good

Some faculty is not good, they are disgusting
Very strict rules in few things, that is too muchh

Admission:

I choose this college because after IIT,IIIT,NIT's this was the best college I heard. And it is the best college with great faculty, curriculum, infrastructure, cultural, sports activities The infrastructure in the campus is crazzyyt than what you see in most of the campus

The Manipal Experience

Likes

I like my college rules. They are simple. 9:30 pm gate entry is stopped. From morning 6:00 am we can go out.
People are pretty chill out here. No one is conservative.
Students and faculty are friendly. Facilities are 5-star

Dislikes

The cost. It isn't very affordable. So it might be hard for middle class people
The faculty are friendly, but their teaching is not that good.
Construction is still going on in the campus.

Admission:

I applied for SRM, VIT, BITS, MIT. I got a confirm admission in SRM but I chose Manipal over SRM as the average package was more and the number of students were less. I got a rejection from BITS pilani as I couldn't crack the exam,

Likes

The brand value of Manipal is really good in the market.
The faculty in this college is good and supportive.
The location being Bangalore always is a plus point.

Dislikes

The size of the campus is a bit smaller.
Situated at the outskirts of Bengaluru .
Curfew restriction after 9:30 pm that is can't come to campus after that. Fine is 500.

Admission:

This college has a really good brand value and good reptationn in the market. The faculty reviews of this college is really good and the campus is really pretty and lively. As for the other colleges I didn't get a lot of positive reviews from the students studying there. Admission process of the college is really smooth without any hassle.

The staff is well behaved and they focus on students as well as the professors are well mannered
The environment of college is very friendly

Likes

Great opportunities being provided by the college
New campus hence the infrastructure being built is top notch
Awesome faculty and college experience as the college is students centric

Dislikes

Located in a somewhat remote place so getting there is a little difficult
Campus is still under construction, lots of things are yet to be built
Fees is on a higher side and as the campus is new there is not much seniors to take guidance from

Admission:

Manipal was way above vit , I didn't secure a good enough seat in bits as I lacked mathematics score. Manipal is miles ahead of vit as this place is more students centric and has better opportunities. MET Exam must be given in order to secure a seat at manipal

The quality of infrastructure at MIT blr is amazing with top notch amenities . The hostels , academic blocks are both spacious and aesthetic .
The campus life is pretty good as a lot of freedom is given the students as compared to other colleges . With a lenient curfew of 9:30 PM.
The faculty are kind and helpful , incase you have any doubt they are always ready to solve it . The class is interactive with the teacher , and the notes provided by the faculty are helpful before the exam.

Dislikes

The course is a fairly expensive course , moreover food , snacks , mess food is very expensive here the mess provider does not reduce the prices keeping in mind of the students , this results in many people not able to afford the snacks
The campus is located in a remote area . Travelling to the main city takes a minimum of an hour and there is always traffic outside the college in a place called baglur cross
The course curriculum in first year doesn't teach us many computer concepts , instead we learnt Biology and Evs even thought this would not help us in our career.

Admission:

I had got into SRM and VIT Bhopal . SRM i did not consider as it was an online admission exam , which many students had used unfair means to get their rank , this caused me to pick manipal as i believed it would have a better crowd . VIT bhopal does not have as big as a name as manipal moreover it was in my hometown hence i chose this collge . I had a good enough rank to get ECE in main campus of MANIPAL but i chose bangalore as i was getting computer science here and i am passionate about this subject . I didnt get into IIT's or NIT's or BIT's as i feel i did not put enough effort in my studies and these exams require rigourous studies . Manipal's entrance exam or MET , is an on-site online exam , mcq based (+4,-1). The eligibility criterea when i had joined was a 50% in Physics math and an optional subject in Class 12 examination . I had got a rank of 11k and the cut off for my course was 12k . Once MET is written and ranks are out the counselling process starts where you opt for your preferred course and various rounds take place ,once your rank comes you will be alloted your course
