PSIT College of Engineering Kanpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As far as batch 2020 is concerned psit has marked the best placement in the northern region with over 1400 selections this year in many tech giants like Infosys, TCS, Wipro Capgemini etc. With packages ranging from 3.6 to 26 LPA. The institution itself is breaking all its previous records of placements every year. The placement training dept, CR dept. of the institution is helping out every student to achieve their best to get a decent job.

When I graduated at the time of covid the placements were not too good but some companies arrive for hiring after 3-year companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys's highest package was around 6 or 7, and an average of 2.5.

The placement of PSIT is best as it breaks the record every year as compared to the previous year. the highest package is 10 lakh and the average package is of 6 lakh and 3.5 lakh. many MNCs companies are come to recruit the students like Infosys Wipro TCS Capgemini and many more. the college is very supportive as it provides training for placement for the technical round as well as the HR round.

Students can sit in placement from Semester 7. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and byjus visit for placement. Lowest package-2.5lacs pa. Highest-9 lacs pa. Average-3-4 lacs pa. Almost 80% of students get placement.

Students are eligible for placement from 6 th sem average package is 3.6 lakh not so good but placement % is 98 good placement numbers but not package good companies visit here like infosys,tcs,wipro.

Students from the 6th semester onwards are made eligible for placements. The number of companies that visit our college for placements are Infosys, Tech Mahindra, IBM, TCS, Capgemini, etc. The highest package provided was 26 LPA here. The average package is about Rs. 4 LPA. About 80% of students are placed here in PSIT during campus placements.

PSIT college of engineering offers four courses currently in B.Tech namely CS, IT, EC, and civil engineering. I chose IT as my trade as I always had an interest in the IT industry. There is a very good number of faculty in here. The ratio of faculty to students is very big. Each faculty here is highly qualified and experienced in their field. They are always ready to help the students. There is no difficulty in passing the term examination if notes are made during classes and preparation is honest.

The college has a good placement record. And college also provides opportunities for off-campus placement. Students become eligible after 6 semesters of the 8-semester journey. Some students apply and get a job at the first attempt. On Average students get 4-5 lack annually but some of them also get a higher package of 10 to 12 lacks. Companies like Infosys, TCS and Capgemini comes annually and heir good amount of students. On average 60% of students get jobs and placement from the college. And some of them also got placement from off-campus. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job in a product based company.

The students become eligible for placements in third year. Third year first semester , the training of students starts and by the second semester of third year students start getting placed in several companies. Big companies like CAPEGEMINI , TCS AMAZON etc visit our college and take the deserving students and offer them jobs. The highest package was given to a student of 26 lakhs pa by CAPEGEMINI. Most of the students get placed in companies and secure their future. My plan is to get a nice job in a well reputed company. I want a campus placement therefore I am preparing accordingly.

Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, tata motors, nestle, amazon, etc companies come here every year to give the job to students. these companies offer a package of 4 to 5 lacs. sometimes they offer 7 to 8 lakh package. approx 50to 60% of students placed every year in campus placement and rest off campus.
