PSIT College of Engineering Kanpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The campus placement of this college is just awesome. The highest package was offered this year was around 52 LPA by Amazon. Some of the students placed too in this package. The average package of the college placement lies between 3-4 LPA. Almost 88 percent of students got placed this year in the CSE department. Big companies like Wipro, Amazon, Microsoft, and TCS hire students in placements.

I am Computers, a science student.PSIT College of Engineering offers different engineering courses of study like Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology. It has recently begun to offer courses in emerging areas like Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) and Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning). The college provides aptitude and program-wise technical training in emerging areas like Embedded systems, C, Robotics, Microcontrollers, MATLAB, Python, and R Language to name a few to all students. The training programs aim at overall personality development and make our students industry-ready.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus for placement such as INFOSYS, WABAG, L&T, TECH MAHENDRA, PRISM JOHNSON LTD Etc, and many marketing companies also visit such as BYJUS, JD, EXTRA MARKS, etc. Most of the students get their placement in the 7th-semester percentage of students who get their placement is 75%. My plan was to prepare for government jobs so I didn't appear in placement drives.

I think 95 percent of students get placed and that's why this college is very popular in this city Mostly students from computer science and information technology get's placed After that ece branch After that en After that civil After that mechanical But overall placement is very good After getting the degree i will do a job and take experience and try to aim for higher packages

From 3rd year last students are eligible for placement drives there are a number of big companies that came to campus placement and for pool campus too like. Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini mind tree virtuosa Phillip and many more. Normal minimum package is about 3.5 LPA generally and increase as the performance of students and upgrading process all about 50-60% are placed during campus placement other students generally go for further studies and preparation for the exam. My plan after my degree is to prepare for government services.

I chose Computer Science engineering because it was always my field of interest. There is a very decent number of faculties in the college. The ratio is faculty to students is quite good. Faculty here are highly qualified and experienced in their fields. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They are always ready to help the students. 3 assignments, 2 Class Tests, and a Pre-University exam are conducted per semester by the college.

Students from the 6th semester onwards are eligible for the on-campus placements. Many companies come for recruitment here. Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS and Tech Mahindra being the best of them. The highest package offered is 12 LPA whereas the average package is about 3.5 LPA. About 60 to 70 percent students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher education (MBA).

The highest package offered is around 10 LPA while the average package is around 3.5 LPA. Many go for off campus placements in search for bigger package. About 70 % students gets placed. My plans is to go for higher education after getting B. Tech degree.
