Greater Noida Institute of Technology, also known as GNIOT became operational in 2001 under Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University. Developed by Shri Ram Educational Trust, the institute is AICTE approved. Applicants seeking admission in the institute can select any of the courses from M.Tech, MBA and MCA. Admission to all the courses is done through CUET PG counselling based on the score obtained in the CUET PG exam. BTech courses admissions are based on JEE Mains score followed by UPTAC Counselling.

The placement cell offers training, placement drives and internship opportunities with over 300 recruiters on board. Some of the top companies include Accenture, Genpact, Godrej, Reliance and Infosys. The average salary package offered is 3-4 lakhs per annum.

GNIOT B.Tech Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with any of the optional subject Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject.
Also, they must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in 10+2.

Key Points

For B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates must have passed Engineering Diploma in a relevant discipline (except Agriculture Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Architecture) with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
Those who have passed B.Sc and class 12th with Mathematics securing 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST) are also eligible to apply.

GNIOT M.Tech Admission 2024

Here is the information regarding the M.Tech course for those who want to take admission in it.

There are 4 specializations in the M.Tech course viz Mechanical engineering, VLSI Design, Computer Science and Civil Engineering. The intake of each specialization is 18.

GNIOT M.Tech Eligibility

A candidate must have passed B.Tech in relevant branch with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved category)
Candidates with a degree of MCA and M.Sc. in relevant stream are also eligible.
Candidates not having Mathematics at 10+2 level are required to qualify a non-credit course on Mathematics of Intermediate level in the first semester of M.Tech Program

NOTE - Those who have a valid score of GPAT/GATE in the desired branch shall be given due weightage.

GNIOT PG Admission: MBA and MCA Admission 2024

GNIOT MBA and MCA Eligibility

A candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent recognized by AIU with at least 50% (45% for reserved category) marks.

NOTE - In case of MCA, candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level.

Key Points

For MCA Lateral entry, candidates must have passed BCA or B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with 50% marks (45% marks for Reserved category)
Additionally, they should have passed Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level.

GNIOT Selection Procedure

The selection procedure for all courses is common as Greater Noida Institute of Technology considers the valid entrance score followed by UPTAC Counselling. The entire selection process is mentioned in the following points:

At first, students need to register for the UPTAC counselling.
After the exam is over and results are out, the qualified students whose names are listed on the merit list.
During this counselling, applicants need to register themselves, pay the counselling fee, upload their documents for verification and fill the choice of course and college.
Based choices filled, seat allotment is done.
Students who are allotted a seat need to report at the allotted college for further admission formalities.

I had apply to GL Bajaj institute of technology and management glbitm galgotia University guide Ghaziabad and greater Noida institute of technology I got confirm admission from galgotia and NIIT I choose Genity over galgotia because the fee structure was slightly lower and money for my family offers merit base scholarship in first year such reduce my tution cost the campus is surprises with good hostel and transport facilities GL Bajaj the cutoff was higher than my ranks and management quart seeds were to expensive Kite Ghaziabad during UPS aktu counselling my perfect branch CSC got failure field quickly but the time many turns comes only less perfect referred branches were available so I cannot sure So I finally hoped from genetically as it was the best available choice consisting my rank budget and branch preference admission process of our college Eligibility B.tech 10 + 2 + physics + chemistry + mathematics minimum 45 to 50% aggregate create depending on categories Exam accepted JEE MAINS through a creative aUPCET counselling Direct admission on the basis of 12th marks Cut off and preferred exams b.tech CSC it JEE mains rank with 100 to 150000 general category is usually safe Admission experience The process was quite straightforward Apply online apply aur offline through the admission cell Submit document and 12 exchange exams for ID proof For management quart student seat confirmed was quick base mainly on 12th marks Aapke seat allotted the college ask for the first year fees upfront which fields a bit heavy but was compulsory

If you are talking admission directly You will directly pay some amount of fees to college after talking with college counsellors whose phone number are provided on official site of GNIOT . And if you talk about counselling you can go after JEE results in aktu counselling and directly book your seat from there if you are eligible for this You will also get some eligibility criteria if you are taking admission directly.

The minimum mark required for B. Tech courses is 45% marks. 5% marks relaxation is given to the reserved category students. Admission will be done through the entrance examination conducted at the university.

The registration has been started and forms are available on the official website. You are required to fill out the forms by July 15, 2022. The examination will be conducted in September 2022. Download the admit card 5 days before the exam.
