Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts was established in 2011, and is India’s first Liberal Arts college to offer full time programs in Liberal Arts. Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts Undergraduate Admissions 2026
Symbiosis offers BA Hons, and BSc Hons under 20 specialisations. Candidates must note that students majoring in Anthropology, Business Studies, Economics, English, History, International Relations, Media Studies, Philosophy, Political Science and Public Policy, Psychology or Sociology, Education, together with the Research Project, will be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Liberal Arts) Honours with Research. Those pursuing the majors mentioned above, but without the research project, have the option of pursuing an additional internship or two additional courses from the major area of specialization. The degree awarded will be Bachelor of Arts (Liberal Arts) Honours.
Similarly, students majoring in Mathematics and Statistics or Computer Studies, Applied Environmental and Sustainability Science along with the Research Project, will be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science (Liberal Arts) Honours with Research. Those pursuing the above-mentioned majors, but opting for an additional internship or two additional courses from the major area of specialization, will be awarded the Bachelor of Science (Liberal Arts) Honours degree.

CBSE/ICSE/HSC: • Applicants are required to secure at least 50% (Open Category) and 45% (SC, ST) in the 12th Standard OR IB Certificate or Diploma students are accepted: • Certificate: Applicants must have a minimum of 24 credits and pass a minimum of three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL).• Diploma: Applicants must have a minimum of 24 credits and pass a minimum of three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL) along with core requirements of Extended Essay, Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) and Theory of Knowledge (TOK). The final selection of eligible candidates at SSLA Pune is done based on their SET Scores, followed by a Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. Candidates must note that appearing for PI is mandatory to be considered for final selection. The final selection process carries weightage for all components listed during the application process. Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts Application Process 2026
Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts Pune offers BA Honours and BSc Honours under 20 specialisations. Candidates should have cleared 12th grade with 50% to be eligible for admission. The final selection of candidates is based on their Symbiosis Entrance Test Scores, followed by a Personal Interview. The SSLA UG Admissions 2026 will follow two entry pathways: Symbiosis Entrance Exam (SET) and Non-SET Rolling Admissions Process (RAP). Candidates have the choice to opt for either of the above processes to seek admission to SSLA.
- Both the processes will follow independent timelines.
- Seats for each of the processes will be earmarked separately and evenly divided
- RAP will commence from 4th September 2025 and close on 18th December 2025 with the semester payment.
- The SET process will commence from December 2025 and will follow SIU timelines and processes.
- Admission to SSLA via the RAP will take into consideration Statement of Purpose (SOP), LOR, 10th and 11th grade marks, and an online Personal Interaction (PI).
- PI will be conducted post the completion of the application after payment of the Registration fee.
Non-SET Rolling Admissions Process
- The admission portal on the SSLA website will open on 4th September 2025.
- On the website, applicants can opt for RAP.
- The SET process and portal access will open in December 2025.
- To fill the application form
- Candidates will have to opt from the designated dates for online PI, which is a mandatory requirement.
- The candidate can choose the dates from the following
- Saturday, 4th October 2025 and Sunday, 5th October 2025
- Saturday, 8th November 2025 and Sunday, 9th November 2025.
- Saturday, 6th December 2025 and Sunday, 7th December 2025.
- To complete the online application form make an online payment of INR 2500/- towards SSLA.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of INR 2500 via Online Payment through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking and UPI.
- Payment can be made directly through either Master or Visa card online. Follow the instructions on the application/registration portal.
- Applicants will have to appear for the online PI on the opted dates. Communication for the PI process will be communicated via email to the registered email ID. Appearing for PI is mandatory to be considered for final selection.

- Class 12 Board marks will be for eligibility requirements only.
- All required documents will have to be uploaded as applicable on the admission portal. These include:

- 1 recent passport size photograph
