Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is a very well rounded spree of courses and the elective choices that run every sem are like 140. So, one student could quite literally be in one class. But sadly it does not work that way, you need atleast five students for a major to run and five students for an elective class as well.

Internships Opportunities

4

If you cant find one from your own connections, the college will do it for you. Its mandatory to do a 150 hour internship and 100 hour COP (community outreach programme). Ask the college more about what you can do there.

Fees and Financial Aid

It costs around 4.9 lakhs for a general student per year. Theres a 20000 deposit. There is no financial aid. NRIs pay around 9-10 lakhs. Application fee was around 2000 rupees. You can get scholarships from institutions Symbiosis has tie ups with.

Campus Life

5

If you're a part of any club (from like 30 options), you're going to have fun in college. Clubs help you make friends even when you're in your awkward first year phase. The seniors are welcoming and very open to help you out. Imagine whatever Symbi life you're thinking about and SSLA does it the best.

Admission

I found a valid relevance to my a level studies in this college. Any other college that i applied to in Mumbai like NMIMS' bsc applied psych course or Christ in Bangalore, I realised would be a repetition of whatever I'd studied in high school.

Faculty

4

Elective classes have like 15 students in them and thats it. However, core classes (which constitute a major portion of your first year) have way bigger batches like 60 students: 2 teachers. But, teaching assistants help out in this situation. And becoming a teaching assistant in your second year/ third year is beneficial CV wise and experience as well. It's really a chill environment to study in, if you care enough the professors will go out of their way to teach you everything you need. Faculty d o e s have experience no matter how much you think about undermining it.

Interview Experience

5

If you're good at writing, and you're aware of your interests (or still looking for them) the personal interview will go very well. Boast when you can, be humble where you must. Treat it like a normal conversation (something i realised after 20 interviews). They really just want to get to know you. Go over whatever interests you talked about in your application essays and then just have some talking points to fall back to.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
