Dislikes

Some subjects of my college is going through NPTEL. I don't like it.
My college is very small and I don't like this small infrastructure
I don't like some selfish societies of college

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd Year. Companies Visited are Kochar,Maxicus and other streams companies. Highest Package is 42 Lakhs and average package is 10 Lakhs. Only 20% students get placement

Infrastructure is good well equipped labs .. transport facility
Concept building..site visits . All around development of child
Extra circular activites departmental activities

Dislikes

High fee .large class size teacher student ratio is high
1 teacher on 60 students. No digital boards advance technology

gender imbalance: a notable girls to boys ratio imbalance affects diversity in campusactivities.
outdated teaching methods: some classes rely heavily on lectures, lacking interactive, hands on learning
campus amenities : failities like cafeteria and sports area need to be upgraded

students become eleigible for placements in 6th semester. reputed companies lke tcs, infosys, wipro and accenture visit, offering roles intech, management and engineering. the highest package is around 12 lakhs witha an average of 4 to 5 lakhs.

Experience of a new life in AGC

Likes

College focus on self development, self exploration and many other co-caricullar activiters.
study and mentorship quality is awesome and help us to interact with teachers and mentors
college environment is very neutral and positive .especially for younger ones

Dislikes

infrastructure is good but there is a bit of need to make it interactfull and explorefull.
campus area is good but shorter in size which make departments smaller and higher.
college location is out of main city.and located across the highway which make it less productive .

Placement Experience:

in my couse students can eligible after hsi 8th semester or his in fourth year.average package for placement is about 3-4lac.but thoose who didn't qualify and loose to get his job can apply for internships from college and also try in walk in interview.basic qualification for sitting in placements is to get more then 7cgpa.my focus is on college placement and i also thinks about off campus interview.

WHAT A NICE OBSERVER CAN OBSERVER

Likes

In classes if you have any doubt you can ask without any hasitation.
Teachers are very polite except one or two people and others talk with you on your professional life how you're like take turns and how manage your life and other stuff.
Placements are not too good in packages you can expect like 3 or 5 lakh per anum.

Dislikes

In classroom's they provide ac only for show piece.
The teaching method or curriculum is very unreasonable in first semester why a computer science student learn about welding and carpenting.
They change some of my friend's course without their permission like my friend enroll for Computer Science and Engineering they add it with AI and Machine learning

Placement Experience:

Yes my college provide placements but not no higher packege like in other colleges. Average is upto 3 or 5 lakh per anum. Companies like wipro, tcs, kent, infosys etc has visited there. Those students which have 8.5 Sgp and above only can sit in placements. I honestly work two or three years in india for experience then i go for foregien coutries for wok and settle there.

Likes

College infrastructure is very much good
Many sport's facilities are available like football, cricket,basket ball
Most of the faculties well experienced are well educated

Dislikes

College campus is size very smaller than and dirty campus

I was very interested in it sector from starting so after completing my 12th I decided to take admission in btech cse . After completing this course every student can get placed very easily if he/she have studied well and attended thier lectures regularly.

College infrastructure is very much decent
Many sports facilities are available like football, cricket, basketball,volleyball,
Most of the faculty are mater and PhD holder and are well experienced

Dislikes

Intership opportunities are very limited
Mess food quality is very average ,not upto the mark
Campus size is not that much buz , comparatively smaller than other colleges

Placement Experience:

Students after completing 6th semester are eligible to sit in tha placement cell .There are several companies who visit our college campus for placement such as TCS , Wipro, cognizant,etc. Every year 60% students get placed , average package offered last year was 4.5 lpa

College infrastructure is very decent and lush with greenery
Well experienced faculty and very supportive

College campus size is not that much biz
Mess food quality is average and not upto the mark
Internship opportunities are very limited for students

Placement Experience:

After completing 6th semester students are eligible for placement. Average package for btech cse is 3.5 lpa and percentage of the students placed last year was 70% . Many companies do visit for placement like tcs, wipro and many local companies as well

Good but jot enough

Likes

The teaching methods are appreciable as the faculty is so helpful and nice to students
The ambience of this college and the quality of class rooms compared to other colleges in Amritsar is good
The curriculum and the approach of everyone to bring out the best of us as students is commendable

Dislikes

The amount of workload they got to give us to write stuff that is not useful for us to handle .
The lack of fests is something I feel should be removed as in college life , the expectations of everyone is to atleast enjoy
The exams that continues for 2 months straight as in Mid semester then remedials and then finals.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for internships and are provided with opportunities to get scholarships. The average package I have seen was 5-6 lakhs p.a. and some students even get placed by attempting off campus placements . Companies like TCS etc take about 7-8 students every year after my degree I will definitely go for an internship to gain more experience as a new graduate to explore more jn in future

A college with maximum opportunities at a reliable cost

Likes

I like college infrastructure, its ragging free campus, teaching method.
Good and well developed classrooms and e classrooms
All students lived as their family as many of them belongs to different states.

Dislikes

Too many rules and regulations for each and every student.
Special restrictions for girls as they are not allowed to leave the hostel after 7 pm
Not availability of the market near the college

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the campus placements after the completion of the 6th sem as this is the main eligibility for sitting in the placements. There are many companies visit every year for their requirements, these companies such as Tata, TCS, NAGARROO, GAMMON INDIA LIMITED, HINDUSTAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, and many more which offers good and high-value package.
