I was very interested in it sector from starting so after completing my 12th I decided to take admission in btech cse . After completing this course every student can get placed very easily if he/she have studied well and attended thier lectures regularly.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are also provided to students but many students have to do internship by their own .for every student it is compulsory to do internship.Every semester one project is given to students

Fees and Financial Aid

Total tuition fee of this course 666000 including hostel and Mess fee also. There are also scholarship available for only sc st students who are local of Punjab. These is also bus facility for students which is cost free.

Campus Life

There are several cultural festival are celebrated in college and also many events are organized like fresher party for freshers students and pryaas which is cultural events organized every year many sports facilities are available like football, volleyball, cricket, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel facility is also provided to students. In every room 4 students are allotted and each student is given 1 table and chair,1 almirah. Three times meal are provided and meal quality is very average.

Admission

Eligibility for this course is 12th pass with minimum 60% with science stream . students can find the application form online at college website also available at college admission office .The semester exam difficult level is moderate.

The student to faculty ratio is 20.1 and every faculty is well experienced and masters and pHD holder.Every faculty is very supportive and co-operative . Teachers also provide extra classes for those students who have doubt related thier studies

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Good but jot enough

The admission process was quite easy , I had to visit the college with my 10-12 DMC and some personal identity verification photostat and 7 pictures of mine and the advance after they admit in their college was 10,000 and later when the session begin they took a clear fee of 45000 approx. The reservation benefits were not that much but the seats were ofcourse booked by the students before as they paid before for it. There is nothing like an extrance exam but is a scholarship test conducted on-line for locals to get some ressieson mentioned above. It is a noce easy experience tho....Read More
