- IKGPTU is conducting a joint campus placement drive for various courses. The students can apply for 6 profiles: Business Development Executive, Digital Media Marketing Executive, Marketing & Sales Executive, Event Manager, Graphic Designer, and Executive Strategic Partnership. The package offered is around INR 3.5 – 4.5 LPA with up to INR 4-6 Lakh incentives. The placement drive is scheduled to be held on November 08, 2024.
- The notice of Capgemini campus recruitment 2024 is released on November 05, 2024. They are offering a position of Software Engineering to female candidates only with a package of INR 3.25 lakhs. The 2024 passing batch of B.Tech/ BBA/ BCA and BSc can apply.
- ECOSPACE Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is conducting the joint campus placement drive on November 08, 2024. They are offering a position of Graduate Engineer with a package of INR 20k – 25K per month. The B.Tech Civil Engineering graduates passing out in 2025 can apply.

- The campus life was lively and engaging, with many student-led events, clubs, and activities. it easy to get involved in extracurricular activities that aligned with my interests, whether they were related to academics, sports,
- coding competitions were done which enhancing the skills to see what should he gain and what should not be

- infrastructure need to be more developed
- ac are not working properly , need to be serviced

I had applied for various colleges and the fees of this colleges is less as compare to other colleges and faculty reviews are also good . I appear fo the counselling through otu website ..for that i paid 2000 rupees and through which i got selected here

- Faculties are well supported towards students.
- Campus is situated in well known place in city.
Dislikes
- Campus size is too small and library is not sufficient
- Our campus don't have its own playground

As we have applied for many state level universities and that time due to covid I was unable to explore so many colleges so at last I took admission in this college because it was mid December and had no other choice

- The college organize tournament like cricket and
- Clubs like python club and Dsa club is on top to gain knowledge
Dislikes
- Faculty like guest faculty are not consistent and competent
- The favourite Student get favour for the different promotion
Admission:
I had applied for the different colleges but the opportunity which I got to here is really amazing . As it provides the best circulum with all subjects to good grub. Exam accepted here is jee mains and 12th percentage
Likes
- Faculty members and some of good professors who supported me and were with me in my tough time
- There's no hectic exams shedule so we used to prepare just one week before to gain good marks and curriculum was easy.
Dislikes
- Some of faculty members were arrogant and don't have proper understanding of subjects
- Marking scheme sometimes let me into wonder of suprise because of favour.
Admission:
I chosed this college because I like the place where it is and more often i could have plenty of time to prepare for different things. I had applied for jac councelling and along with that i also had applied for this college.so I was getting uiet chandigarh and uiet hosiyarpur but my pocket didn't allow me to bear the expenses for chandigarh and i found this college profitable and a place to enhance my own skills.

- Campus infrastructure with lot of greenery
- AC Classrooms with well maintained furnitures
Dislikes
- Less number of cafeterias and less shops
- Administration department is less caring . A lot of mistakes in declaring results

Eligibility - 12th with aleast 75% in PCM. Admission also on the basis of JEE percentile Application form on official website of the university www.ptu.ac in Schlorships to needy students 3 exmas taken - 2 unit tests and 1 final exam
Likes
- Student Independent Environment: Event Management by Students as most of event are managed by students. They do not have to remain dependent on college.
- Up To Date Curruiculum: Syllabus taught here is up to dated.
Dislikes
- Less Infrastructure: No Matter studies and environment is good . But campus remain behind due to lack of infrastructure
- Non Wifi Campus: As a technical Institute it must have wifi for students.
Admission:
Admission process in IKGPTU Amritsar is very simple. There is no entrance exam for taking admission in college. Even low marks in JEE exam are also accepted. You can register on amritsar.ptu.ac.in for taking admission. Students with SC caste can avail scholarships easily. Application fee for registering is 500 rs. After that you have to be shortlisted in merit list. If you are shortlisted you have to appear in counselling session whose charges are 2000 rs. In counselling session you have just to verify your documents.

- Good infrastructure, well maintained classrooms , clean places.
- Good supporting teachers with friendly nature .
Dislikes
- not having proper daily need shops for the required needs
- average mess food can be improved but none actions taken
Admission:
1. Eligibility for the course: 12th pass out. there is no barrier of min—percentage in 12th or anything like that. 2. Application form: You can find the application form on the official website of IKGPTU when the admission process is going on. application form process goes on for 2 rounds. 3. there are no reservation benefits for the students except for the local SC/ST students. 4. there are two types of exams in the semester mst's (mid-semester exams) that occur 2 times in a semester and then final end-sem exams with viva for each subject.
