From Classrooms to Campuses - A Genuine review of Smt. V.H.D. Central Institute of Home Science College

Likes

This is only girls college and supportive to the girls and also sports room is available for indoor and outdoor games
The teachers are supportive and friendly and teach very well, if we didt understand they will explain even in kannada and make us to understand better and clearly
Teachers are so polite and library facility is also available and also reading room is also available where there is a huge collection of books related to news and beauty and ladies mgazines and newspapers

Dislikes

little old model building like when i was studying the desk and benches were little old model
there is no campus interviews and selections
there is no any competetive exams related courses like additional courses and also there is less attention on less learners.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced me is to select this course which is in high demand like job oppourtunites. The curriculum was excellent and fully detailed course like lecturer, science teachers for puc and working in labs and hospitals and also can do the paramedical courses iwth this course. overall its a difficulty subject need to practice more and work on it.

Knowledge of nutrition

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is nutrition and dietetics I'm interested to know about our health and maintaining normal healthy with good nutritious food avoiding the refined and packed food. When we learn about nutrition we care about not only our health but even we care about our nation. The professors are good at teaching and they are highly talented all are completed with there PhD in food and nutrition. The teaching is good. The exams are ok too right it's not easy or tough. The exams are all about improving our knowledge to become a good nutritionists or a dietitian.

Remarks:

My mother is the professor of this college and thus I took admission here. I saw everything here very closely since my early years. My mother only suggested me this college on the last day of my twelfth exams.
