How to Check Bangalore University Result 2026?
The result portal shows a provisional result for one student at a time. Students follow these steps:
- The student opens the official website, bangaloreuniversity.karnataka.gov.in.
- The Exam Results link sits under the examination section.

- It opens the provisional results page on buofc.inhawk.com.
- The student enters the registration number.
- The name, degree, course and college appear on screen.
- The student picks the examination session to see the marks.
- A saved copy or printout helps with college records.
Example: A B.Com repeater in 4th semester checks the September 2026 result. The student enters the registration number and picks that session.
What the Bangalore University Result Page Shows?
The online page is a provisional result, not the final marks card. It carries these details:
- Student registration number and name
- Degree, course and college name
- Examination session the result belongs to
- Paper-wise marks and the result status
The college principal puts the result on the college notice board. Any error in the result must reach the Registrar (Evaluation) within 15 days. Students report such errors through their college, which forwards them to the university.
Why a Bangalore University Result May Not Show?
A blank or missing result is the most common problem students face. Most cases have a simple cause.
- Wrong portal: NEP students may need the UUCMS login instead of the buofc page.
- Course not yet declared: Results come course by course. One course may be out before another.
- Typing error: A single wrong digit in the registration number returns no record.
- Result withheld: Students report that pending college issues can hold back a result. The college exam section clears these.
Some students do not get results on UUCMS. Their theory marks show on the buofc portal, as per the September 2026 notice.
How to Apply for Revaluation and Scrutiny After the Result?
Unhappy students can first get a photocopy of the answer script. They can then apply for revaluation. Each paper needs at least 15 percent of maximum marks. Non-core subjects have no photocopy or revaluation option.
- The student opens the online payment link, buofc.inhawk.com.
- The student selects the Revaluation menu and enters the register number.
- The name, college, course and semester fill in automatically.
- The student chooses Revaluation or Photocopy and the paper codes.
- The Calculate button shows the fee, then Make Payment opens.
- Payment works by credit card, debit card or net banking.
- A receipt is generated. An SMS and email confirm the payment.
The photocopy is not emailed or posted. Students download it from the portal within one month of hosting.
Important: UVCE B.Tech and B.Arch students must get the photocopy before revaluation.
