Course Curriculum Overview

4

The specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced me is to select this course which is in high demand like job oppourtunites. The curriculum was excellent and fully detailed course like lecturer, science teachers for puc and working in labs and hospitals and also can do the paramedical courses iwth this course. overall its a difficulty subject need to practice more and work on it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was paying 5000 to 6000 for one year. Including tution fees, caution feesm registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other fees and charges. overall i paid the above amount for full academic year. For only SC & ST the fees was deducted according to their caste details, they paid only 25% percent of the total fees. The fees of my batchmates for other categories is almost same fees for Bsc computers so on and for BBM students the fees little bit high when compare to my course and it was more than 10000 annual fees. Like SC & ST scholar ships yearly wise and other scholarships was on the basis of their talents and academic marks scored in the exams.

Campus Life

4

Annual day and class photos sessions and intercollege talents day and sports day and fields visits and industries visit according to the accademic course and subject to gain practical knowledge and food day and trips like one day trip and 3 day trips and competetions like essays and speeches The availability of books and journals in the library are provided according to all the subjects which we have and also non fiction and fiction books and also story books like kadambari or famous poets. The facility means advance teaching in big screens and advance methods of pravticals The intercollege and inter state sports organizing and participation. Yes the students are appointed as leaders through voting for respective roles for monitoring respestive activities such as cultural activities leader and sports activities leader and college leader and student assocition leader and kannada association leader and hindi and urdu association leader. This responsilbilties are given to the students to perform the tasks.

Admission

I didt apply for any other colleges because in this college the fees structure was really very much affordable for all poor and middle class peoples. so i selected this college. No because i didt applied for any other colleges. The process is direct admission after puc 2nd year of completion and eligibility criteria is just passed certificate of 2nd puc and there is no any other exams conducted for the admission process,

Faculty

3

The ratio of the faculty to student is 2:3 and the relationship between the student and faculty is very friendly and supportive. Faculties approachable are better and well good. But this again depends on the students as well as faculties. I was liking out biotechnology sir, he is so friendly and kind person was making us to understand well in subjects and also in lab experiments. and i was also liking Shobha mam who is our homescience teacher, we enjoyed lot n lot in our residence practicals. it was 7 days fully enjoyed with our friends and teacher. and one more mam our english mam, she is so soft and simple and was explaining us well in the english subject. I cant tell i didti like because everyone was very friendly. There was totally 6 semesters and each semester one final exam and preparatory exams and alsp class tests are conducted by the teachers and boards. Sometimes exams was easy and also difficult but it usually depends on the how we have studied right. Most of the students are falling to clear chemistry exams but homescience exams was very easy. The course curriculum was excellent but there was not knowledging about further studies directions and jobs availabilities.

Night Life

2

We had library with a wide collection of books and corridor for spending our leisure hours and free time and indoor games room to spend and explore ourselves with activities and also reading room. The hostel was located just opposite to the college and closure timings of the hostel is before 8pm We were not roaming in the college campus during nights because the college was closing before 7pm and inside the hostel campus all of them were roaming even during nights which is safe with security and grilled gate so its safe. Others were located locally from different places around Bangalore so localets were not staying during nights.

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
