The course curriculum is really good, and the college exams are conducted on a yearly basis. The college is affiliated with Jiwaji University, which is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
I got 8000 for the internship; many companies come here with a good package for students.
The placements were good; many of them went to good companies. It was good advertising. Jobs were more, and small internships were given to people.

Dislikes

After studying this course, students usually go for a Masters degree instead of applying for other jobs, unless any unforeseen circumstances occur.
Our Union party offers free books to very poor families who cannot afford to buy any. We, the Union students, provide this offer.
You have to take a flat nearby or have to stay with friends in a nearby mess.

Vivekananda College Review

The location of the college is good as it is just beside a Metro station and you can avail several bus/auto services also.
The teachers are good, Internships are provided during the 4th semester for gaining experience. The college organises several fests and events so it has a good campus life and social engagement.
The Infrastructure is good as compared to other Govt. Colleges, you also get to avail some learning facilities. The course curriculum is overall good.

Dislikes

The College website could be developed and made more user friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The College is well reputed and specially the Commerce department. It is better than many Govt colleges. I wanted to go for the field of Finance so I chose this course. The curriculum is being improved and updated to make sure it helps the students in real world applications but it can be developed much more. The Teaching methods are nice but the Course curriculum is not that great and you can't expect high salary after following the curriculum. The frequency of exams are low and their difficulty level are mid.

Course was a bit eased out considering I took a general course and not a honours one. University syllabus same for all and classes were apt. Got a number of holidays due to election and all so not that stressed curriculum for general students

Teachers are very friendly and corporative
The campus is full of greenary and taken care of the plants.
The admistrative structure is very helpful

Dislikes

The canteen food not so good but very pricey
Washroom are not so cleaned or well maintained
Benches int he classroom are not too strong

Exams are after every 5-6 months . The teachers provide ample of notes and guidance before exams. They even provide knowledge of outer world and commerce related topics for general knowledge . I'm very much happy to choose my course and fulfilling my degree without any problem

Why and How Vivekananda College, Kolkata Could Be A Great Decision For Your Future.

Likes

Hygienic Campus and good canteen food served hot to us students and teachers.
There are sports played competitively among colleges like football , cricket, rock climbing etc.

Dislikes

Some teachers are not that good in behaviour and stuff.
The teaching skills of our teachers can be improved.

B.Com is a very industry-ready course and very relevant in today's time and work. The real-world application is taught well here and students get some insights about the practical usage of the course. Teachers may use some friendly behavior and some fun examples for the weak students to get involved and interested in the class.

I like the college canteen very well providing such a tasty and hygienic food at low cost and also prepare for us on special orders and behave so kind and politely
I liked the campus as it have such a big playground one common room one gym room one music room to chil and stay healthy and the also have table tennis , carrom and many more games in that
I like the behaviour and politeness of the teachers and the way they communicate to clear the doubts we have they didn't even irritate such a polite and kind teacher

Dislikes

Only college buildings paints should be more improved
And the benches on the classroom should be changed to new

The couse is a very important and a common course as , it's not so tough we can get good marks easily teaching methods should be improved by making strictness on attendance , and the exam after is not so much difficult

Better than most of the college

The college ground is very very big to play
The college canteen is also very nice and big
The students are very friendly and aslo teachers help studnets

HONEST REVIEW REGARDING VC COLLEGE

Likes

Canteen - In VC college's canteen, foods are of very low price
Events- Every year, exciting events are organised by college
Library - Library is quite big and very clean

Dislikes

Infrastructure - college buildings look quite old and weak
Class room - very dirty and bench are broken
Teachers- not every teachers are bad, but most of them are not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are held in every 6 months of a year. As our course was of 3 years, there will be 6 term of exams. Exams paper are of moderate level. It's not that difficult to pass the exam, if you study with proper concentration.

In the world of digital india...they take exam form fees in cash..studnets every semester stand in line for hours to submit exam fees

I choose this field because I have interest in accounts and finance. Student ratio is equally divided into males and females. The faculty quantification is mixed for example. So aree PhD and some are part timer.
