Faculty members behaviour and their teaching style and also their skills
College Premises is very neat and clean. One can get a peaceful authentic feeling.

Dislikes

You have to maintain minimum 75% attendance
Calcutta University did not provide actual 6 months duration for preparation.

As a neutral student who try to give best opinion for his college

Likes

Social interaction is very good,campus is very good
Our college faculty is also good,but my course purpose faculty and lab assistant are very nice and helpful.

Dislikes

Arrangement of direct placement after completing the course in every faculty which is not available nowadays.
To improve the aspect of sports and make arrangements for the players to reach the district , state level also international level.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fees: max 10000 yearly for your course, including exam fees, development fees,lab fees. Tution fees is private,that is approx 15000. Sports kota is hardly simple in this college. Batchmate fees are also as same as me. Scholarship is only provided by government, like svmcm,aikyashree etc. College don't provide any scholarship

My honest review

Likes

Our college is good . All the year the organised a function.

Dislikes

the teacher is very bad especially the hod .
And our mathematics department is very bad no one tour in my 3 years college life

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I cannot get tution because I preferred self study so my fees is less then low. But whose student prefer tution they must be pay at 1500 to 2500 rupees. And you can get 1 schoolership which amount is 18000 rupees. In my experience you can not join in college at mathematics Hons .

Why and How Vivekananda College, Kolkata Could Be A Great Decision For Your Future.

Likes

Hygienic Campus and good canteen food served hot to us students and teachers.
There are sports played competitively among colleges like football , cricket, rock climbing etc.

Dislikes

Some teachers are not that good in behaviour and stuff.
The teaching skills of our teachers can be improved.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees in our college is very very affordable actually for all the courses. For B.COM we have to pay 6,600 rupees yearly so for 3 year bachelor degree the fees is around 20,000 rupees and for the 4 year honours course the fees is around 27,000 rupees. There are separate lab fees which is around 100 rupees per semester (6 months) and some cultural event charges which are around 200 rupees yearly. The most expensive course in our college is B.SC which is around 10,000 rupees yearly for a 3-year general course and a 4-year honours course. There are several scholarship schemes like the one I got is SVCM where students get 12,000 rupees yearly for scoring a minimum of 60% in a year.

Why Vivekananda College is one of the best colleges for graduation in Kolkata.

I took admission at Vivekananda College in 2021 with B.A General. My subjects included English as main alongside Journalism and Human Rights. With an accredited 'A' by NAAC, Vivekananda College is one of the most significant colleges in Kolkata
The faculties at the college are extremely kind, cooperative and considerate. Not only are they excellent educators, but at the same time they have successfully managed to maintain cordial relationship with us all throughout the semesters.

Dislikes

The college does not happen to have any hostel facilities as of yet which makes it difficult for a number of students to attend classes on a regular basis, furthermore, results in them missing the early classes.
As of campusing and career development opportunities, there are several seminars arranged every few months, however the seminars are not very efficacious and the attandance is very low

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

For each semester, we are to pay around 3,200 for the B.A General (English) course. It includes computer lab fees as well. There are several scholarships and financial aid are available to pursue from the college and it is encouraged heavily. Anybody can avail of the scholarships if able to maintain a certain SGPA and have the necessary documents needed for the scholarship applications.

This college regulated under the bord of Calcutta University. Cheapest tusion fee are available Only Rs 15000/- changeable for 3 years general Course Library facilaty an avail able Scholarship and financial aid are available for ST and SC candidate.

I like the college canteen very well providing such a tasty and hygienic food at low cost and also prepare for us on special orders and behave so kind and politely
I liked the campus as it have such a big playground one common room one gym room one music room to chil and stay healthy and the also have table tennis , carrom and many more games in that

Dislikes

Only college buildings paints should be more improved
And the benches on the classroom should be changed to new

Tution fees is reasonable in this college the canteen at this college is also well maintained hygienic and affordable and have quality of food items , gym and other sports are absolutely free innthis college

Better than most of the college

The college ground is very very big to play
The college canteen is also very nice and big

Dislikes

The classrooms are outdated and dirty and not cleaned
The office staffs are very slow to work

HONEST REVIEW REGARDING VC COLLEGE

Likes

Canteen - In VC college's canteen, foods are of very low price
Events- Every year, exciting events are organised by college

Dislikes

Infrastructure - college buildings look quite old and weak
Class room - very dirty and bench are broken

I got Vivekananda Scholarship at the beginning of semester 1. And, it will continue till course get completed. The scholarship amount is around ?10000- ?12000, which is quite good for maintaining our own expenses.

The cost of doing bachelor of commerce course is not much.. one can do this cousre by spending around 25000-30000 .but in case if private college it can go high upto 50000 per semester which is 300000 in 3 year
