There's are 5 teachers for 30 students . So the Faculty - to - student ratio is 1:6 . One can get easily one - one attention. In 1st and 2nd semester there are four papers in each semester In 3rd and 4th Semester there are five papers in each semester. In 5th and 6th Semester there are four papers in each semester. Every students should have to take one General Paper in 1st and 2nd year. A standard question is provided by University. After completing whole syllabus one can write down answer properly.

It's also my opinion that our college faculty is very well developed, organised. With due to respect, all lab assistants are very helpful, courageous and friendly Exam pattern is set up by Calcutta University, the process of exam system is Semester type. There are exam syllabus is fully depend on the university pattern. So, questions are also set by University. Exam questions are overall great, not so easy ,not so hard at all.

The faculty-to-student ratio are fine in my opinion but for some, it may appear less faculty in comparison to students but it is fine. Teachers like D.K. Sir and A.B. Sir are the best for me. They are more approachable and friendly with students. There are two main exams in a year and two small internal exams. Difficulty level is moderate I would say.

The teachers at Vivekananda College, especially in my department (B.A General with a specialization in English) were approachable and always open to discussing whichever problems we've had. As of numbers, we have had about 50 students and we have had 3 teachers to teach us each subject and the syllabus was split accordingly. Having multiple teachers on one subject made it easier to grasp the entirety of the syllabus before the semesters ended. Each teacher's teaching techniques were different and having more than one outlook on each subject was incredibly helpful and through discussing and interacting, the lessons we've learned– be it textual knowledge or more than that, made it interesting and worthwhile.
The faculty of the college was well adversed in all the field in there own subject matter. They used to teach very well and they use to help the students to get full knowledge of the course thoroughly. They used to help all the students if they face any type of prblm faced by the students
We have morning classes. I've 3 main subjects and 1 elective subject. Each main subjects have two classes in a day. Total classes for every subjects are 5 theorytical and 3 practical. And 1 elective subject class once in a week. Starts every morning at 6:45 and ends 11:45 am.
Very nice and friendly. They are always helpful towards their students. The environment is also nice. A lot of open space. And the infrastructure is also better compared to other more reputed colleges in Kolkata.
Our college is full of highly educated and professional professors. In every department there are good faculties. In every 3 years, the head of the department of every department is changed by some rule. I am a mathematics students and in my point of view my mathematics department has expert mathematician professors and I am thankful to the college to get them as my teachers.
I completely happy with vivekananda college faculty they only value education & fitness/activity you got almost everything what you need in a college they have a large canteen area for students you got almost everything what you need large numbers of teaching staff well maintained & clean.
