JNMC PDCC Critical Care Admission 2026
Admissions to the PDCC in Critical Care Medicine at JNMC, AMU are conducted through a Departmental Test organised by the Department of Anaesthesiology. The selection process involves a written test of 85 MCQs (1 mark each) followed by an interview of 15 marks. Only candidates who qualify the written test are called for the interview, and physical presence at the interview is mandatory. The test is conducted at Aligarh only. For the 2026-27 session, the test was held on December 16, 2026, and the counselling-cum-admission process was completed in February 2027.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must possess a recognised MD or DNB degree in Anaesthesiology from a recognised medical institution.
- The test syllabus is based on the MCI-approved syllabus of MD (Anaesthesiology); candidates are tested on both General Anaesthesia (45 questions) and Speciality topics (40 questions).
- There is no age limit for the PDCC in Critical Care Medicine at JNMC.
Admission Process:
- Monitor the official AMU Controller of Examinations website (www.amucontrollerexams.com) for the application notification, typically released in September each year.
- Submit the online application form within the stipulated deadline along with the processing fee of Rs. 1,050 (without late fee) or Rs. 1,350 (with late fee).
- Download the admit card from the AMU Controller's website 2-3 days before the test date.
- Appear for the Departmental Test (85 MCQs, 2 hours) at the designated test centre in Aligarh.
- Candidates who qualify the written test are shortlisted for the interview (15 marks); physical presence at the interview is mandatory.
- Final merit list is prepared based on combined written test and interview scores.
- Selected candidates must register on the AMU counselling portal (counselling.amuonline.ac.in), upload documents, and pay the admission fee within the stipulated schedule.
