JNMC MD Radiodiagnosis FAQs

Ques. What are the career prospects after MD Radiodiagnosis from JNMC, AMU?

Ans. MD Radiodiagnosis is one of the highest-paying and most in-demand medical specialties in India. Graduates can work as radiologists in government and private hospitals, set up independent diagnostic centres, join corporate hospital chains, or pursue subspecialty fellowships in interventional radiology, neuroradiology, or musculoskeletal radiology. The demand for trained radiologists far exceeds supply in India, making this a highly lucrative career choice.

Ques. How many seats are available in MD Radiodiagnosis at JNMC?

Ans. JNMC has a total of 11 seats in MD Radiodiagnosis. These are divided between All India Quota (AIQ) via MCC counselling and AMU Institutional Quota (for AMU internal candidates).
