Best college to enjoy as well as to study

In mh college pillaithere are few things that they must improves by organising such small management event and must improve by initiating studens to take part in nit and more or less the college is vest i will say there are many prons of the college
The main thing i like about my college is that they supports a lott in sports competitions snd encourages in also
Taking interview practice and aptitude is the main we also know to inter any organisation

Dislikes

The one thing i dislike is that the course size is too big
There are few stafs wich we can’t understand teaching
Also the infrastructure is average compared to other management college

The couse is very nice mainly the corse is planned in such a way that the most of the things we learned practically and main is gives internship thoo and the course is planned in such a way that we should be able to takle any suitaon in Mmcs

If you wanna have a college life join Pillai HOC but the only badside is very low placement percent

Likes

The campus is really very huge and there are lot's of mountain around the college campus
The college canteen it has lots of variety of food there specialty is malayaalam food but there are non veg food too
The library in the library the total cost of all the books are 1cr+ and the library is really very aesthetic

Dislikes

The computers are very laggy and slow and they teach coding in turbo C instead of visual Studio code
There is a huge crowd in the canteen during the break
The placement percentage is very low and the highest and average package is also very low

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about placement eligibility as i am a first year student but i know that the main company which hire many student is Infosys and tcs the highest package is around 8lpa and average is 3-4lpa the percentage of student getting in campus is very low and my plans after getting the degree is doing a job for some year and after that own startup

I liked of our college is cultural event and sports activities
I liked of our college is for teaching style is also very nice.

College fest name as euphoria it is 4 days fest
The infrastructure of college is good and huge

Dislikes

Water get stuffed sometimes near campus gate during rainy season
Roads outside are small so it is thing i dont like

Placement Experience:

Various companies like jio,godrej,cap gemini, Infosys tcs comes to campus to hire our student 70 percent of student get placed who applies for job through campus placement highest package of pillai is 32 lakh per annum

Great campus life

Likes

The campus life of our college is very good because various branch students comes together and makes new friends.
The infrastructure of the college is very huge which makes us feel good by experiencing very nice facilities.
The quality of teaching staff, many professors here are PHD holders.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not fully furnished and not gets cleaned properly.
Not much into sports, students are getting just few chances to participate in sports.
The quality of food in canteen, overcrowded canteen and not well managed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took admission in mechanical engineering because of my passion in machines and cars. I researched before choosing this course that it has automotive topics in the course , the subject we have in 7th semester is vehicles system is my favourite because of my love for vehicles. Many workshops gets held here which gives you real experience of working in a company. The external exams are quite difficult because the paper pattern is quite hard for students.(not internal exams)

A good campus life creates good mood to study

College campus is so huge and beautiful all branch students can make friends over there, you will see a very friendly atmosphere there.
Faculty members were very supportive during exams and the teaching quality was good because of the qualifications of the professors
College has various departments like engineering, architecture, science and hotel management, so there are many buildings for each department. So infrastructure wise college is too good.

Dislikes

The classrooms were not fully furnished at that time.
Related to mechanical branch, the placements were not much.
Transportation facilities are too less, location of the college is quite far from mainland.

Placement Experience:

Companies visit the campus in last semester of the course. Mostly the companies which visit the campus are IT based and COMPUTER based , so there are few chances of getting placed in those companies. Mechanical engineering companies also do visit but the percentage of students gets selected in those companies are very low. My plans after the completion of this course is to persue BE in mechanical engineering.

Infrastructure is really good from inside as well as outside..and canteen facilities are quite good and have a good space for children's too eat
Faculty is helpful and expertise in their field
I have good interaction with faculty and they helpful during exams as well

Dislikes

There are too many streams in one college
Students from pcacs and engineering mostly just participate in events and activities and not focus on studies
There are too many events and parties happen in this campus

Placement Experience:

After completing ur sem 2 you are eligible for placement because in 2nd year only companies comes for selecting the students I'm my campus there are many companies have visited like coca cola, ongc, etc and many more The highest is 10 lakhs to one of marketing girl in previous batch for selected I will go for ca after mba in finance

It was a good college with avg teaching quality

Likes

Campus is very good and very nice environment
College arranges big events like euphoria
Principal sir and Hod department is very supportive

Dislikes

No placement preparation and not a good campus for placements
Teachers are less skilled and teaches only syllabus
It requires 75% attendance but don't focus on placement

You have to do self study for exam preparation curriculum for exam is very short and there are too many events which are within the curriculum. Faculties are too much strict on exam time like papers checking and supervision

Likes

Faculty is good. They are very supportive.
Teaching method and mentorship quality is nice
Campus is beautiful and huge. Canteen Library everything is nice

Dislikes

I don't like the external area of college.
It is not much safe after evening 5 o'clock
I don't like is ground. During rainy season, ground is always fluided with water.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Deloitte consulting, Some pharmaceutical companies also visit in our campus. This year average highest package is around 3.4 LPA. This year Percentage of students getting placed is very low. Because companies are not approaching this year for campus placement. But it is around 30-40%
