Few words about pillai college

Likes

Infrastructure is awesome, it includes garden with beautiful plants and also caretakers keep the garden well maintained
Canteen is not much great but it is worth the money we spent
Events are one of the best thing in that college

Dislikes

Many students are focused on events rather than studying
Canteen food can be improved, cuz they use same gravy for everything
Network speed can be much more improved.

Admission:

I didn't applied to any other colleges, I applied here and i got admission due to covid-19 pandemic... I have given common entrance exam for pursuing engineering in this college.. Also i got accepted because of merits

Likes

I liked the events of the college like Alegria , teachers day , rose day and film promotion
I like the college maintainance , clean surrounding
I like teachers teaching patiently , dedicated to the bestest

Dislikes

I dislike the canteen area students unnecessary sitting with tea doing time pass
I dislike the library charging u if delay in returning the book 1 week late
I dislike the way outside area of college

Admission:

Firstly i applied in sies nerul branch , but i didnt get addmission there as i applied a little late and student before me was selected , then next was Kle kalamboli that was close to my house but the crowd there was not good so i did not take addmission over there , next the last one was my college pillais and i applied i got selected also the cuttoff here was 75 % so my waz 78 so i got easily selected for that aspect also

Likes

The best thing is the college location...the college is situated in heart of forest..best environment pollution free
The other thing i liked is college campus it is a vast area and best place to make new friend
Third thing is the cooperative faculties over here..they help in everything

Dislikes

Only the problem is the washroom are not clean
Classrooms should be painted every two years

Admission:

I had applied for Saraswati Kharghar but due to some of their internal issues many of my friends and family suggested not to take admissiom over there they told me pillai is best overalll means events infrastruture studies industrial visits etc....Admission process is offline of pillai hoc... cut offs are very high over high...tough compititions

Likes

college provided sports room for students to play in their free time is good thing
in rainy season college environment gets prettier
campus is bigger than other colleges of navi mumbai

Dislikes

i am not happy with the campus and infrastructure of college
college management is not tha good than a other colleges
there are only 3 fests in a year in college which i don't like

Admission:

I was preparing for enterance exams and exams were on august i didn't perform well on so i waited till all the lists and all seats get reserved after that only in this college i got admission . eligibility is as per college rules every year that changes. exams which include subjects like physics chemistry and maths are accepted here.

I like nature of the teachers they are very helpful and students are very helpful to each other
They do all the things together with a team
They always support their frnds. In every event

Dislikes

There are some some seniors who make fool around the college
We have complained against them and the action has been taken
Principal have gave them warning for not doing this again

Admission:

There are many colleges but parent those who pay fees for their children they always think that However the college is the study in that college should be proper and good for them the college is important where everything is proper not only the college but also the environment and the teachers

Very good and experienced faculty for teaching
There are multiple labs for each subject

Dislikes

The computers in the lab are not well maintained. Most of them are not even working like not all but every 1 in 10 PCs are not working

Admission:

I took this college because it was easy to me for travelling to college. I also applied to other college but the cutoff of other college were a bit high. For the admission process you have to give MHT-CET exam. And the cutoff may vary every year but most of the time it is approx 60%ile to 65%ile.

Pillai HOC College is the one of the biggest college and the best infrastructure they provide
The excellent teaching staff in the college and the best labs they provide us for practical
There are industrial site visit yearly and also the euforia which is biggest festival of the year they provide

Dislikes

The distance from panvel is long but there is nmmt bus is available for transport

Likes

The college environment and infrastructure is good and suitable for each and every student
All the staff and non teaching staff and clerk are helpful
Ratio is equal to boys and a girls. Each class have equal ratio

Dislikes

Nothing much more could have been more suitable for students travelling from far

Actually I live in panvel and for me this stream are very full colleges are available nearby . So by pillai hoc it has good popularity among its events and teachers teaching skill And more than it has better placement than others.

Do read before get in to pillai's pica

Likes

cultural activities there are many events happen in college
many sports opportunities those are interested will get to play in many tournaments
faculties there are few experienced faculties who guide us beyond the syllabus

Dislikes

infrastructure there are very less things provided in architecture department
very less practicals and mainly they teach only through ppts and lectures
unnecessary events some times it feels like what is the use of this particular event

Admission:

My merit score i could get other better colleges in some other places but i cant travel more and this is offer dabble and best compare to other colleges in Mumbai and the campus is more better than other campus there are many spaces were we can spend time in outdoor

Library for students is available . infrastructure of library is commendable . Books are available. Library has internet connection for laptop etc. clg has various labs which has good interior and all equipment available all practical are performed .
