Hostel provided by the University is wonderful. It doesn't charge for accommodation, it changes 1400(INR) per month for dining facility and provides overall good quality food. The hall of residence also has a separate air conditioned reading room, common room and provides numerous sports facilities within the hall campus.

Hostel fees is included in admission fees so there is no extra charge for hostels, and mesh charge is 1400 for 30days. In 1st year students gets 4 seater rooms with cupboard which is comfortable and table chair are also provided. Mesh is neither good nor bad, veg and non veg both type of food are provided. Hall are assigned in the admission card after admission is done in online, then you have to go to that hall physically and submit a file provided by them after filling it with documents, then after some months you get a room.

B-Tech students of the first year are usually alloted annexes which are essentially mini-rooms which have 3 or 4 students in it a student can also be allotted a large annexe which is essentially like a dormitory. The meal quality is relatively fine for the dining price and has a somewhat diverse menu In order to register for the hostel you need to opt for it in the application form and complete the formalities once the admission is complete

Hostels are good, but we have to live in annexe for first 6-7 months, due to unavailability of empty rooms. Dining is also cheap, but food is good. Menu includes both veg and non veg. There are lots of pg around the campus where you can rent a room.

In 1st year it is very difficult to get a room as most of the students live in annexe-usually having 8 to 10beds in one room(some have 4 beds too) but from second year students can easily get a four seater room. But apart from this every student gets a hall alloted and can use all the facilites of the hall like common room, bathroom , mess etc. regardless of being alloted in an annexe(inside the hall only). As one gets senior he may get 2 seater or even 1 seater room.the hostels are well equipped with all the facilities like wifi, 24 hour water supply, geyser, indian toilets only,.The infrastructure is old but one can get used to it since the rooms are quite large with tables chairs etc.NT hall is much better than SU hall when it comes to infrastructure and facilities. But SU hall has large size.one can alse get a pg in zakaria for ariund 6000rs a month.
