Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of this University or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. OR Diploma in Engineering of this University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

the annual fees for the zakir hussain college of engineering and technology is around 20,000 for most of the courses including btech in civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, automobile, petrochemical etc. on the other hand there are some self financed branches which have a fees of 80,000. many scholarships are also provided in the first year especially for girls

- Teachers have knowledge and are capable of teaching higher stuffs
- Classroom competition is good as there are many students from all over india

- Too many class bunks by students but teachers come and take classes no fault of faculty
- Infrastructure of building is not that good no AC in classrooms

The best thing about AMU is that it offers courses at very nominal prices, it's almost 15000/- a year for a normal which is way cheaper than IITs and nits also the giveaway placements are also average not that bad

- Hostel facility is not that very good in the college.
- Some professors are get annoyed over little things

Fees is really cheap, one can get best return of investment after studying from zhcet. Eligible students do get both national and state scholarships from the college and many other alumni funded scholarships are also available for deserving students.
Likes
- A prestigious national university with a rich heritage and culture.
- Well qualified and dedicated faculties (all well versed in their respective subject matters)
Dislikes
- Hostel room allocation is not always guaranteed (especially for external students)
- Less emphasis is made on placements as students usually go for higher studies in this college.

The Bachelor's in Technology course is very affordable at ZHCET Cost to study is very low considering it is a national university (45,000 INR for 4 years except AI and FT branches) Various scholarships are also available for extraordinary and financially weak students.

- there is noting in the college for dislike in my opinion.

the admission fees of btech first year was 20000 rupeees and all the expences including in it except the dinning fee .the dinning fee of the hosterl is 1400 per month .the fees of rest three years are 7810 rupees each nyear excuding the non teaching fees like hostel fee and the dinning fee .there are various scholarship is provided by college . like top rank student give mer month stipend the alumini of college provide schplarship to needy students . college provide bharat seva scholarship in which selected students provide 10000 rupees for their study .college provide some other scholarship that is based on the students acodamic performance . in college have training and placement office facility that provide job to most of the students around 50 compay is visit in the campus every year and around 80 percent students placed in these company. and rest of the student go for M .tech through iit or MS through other counteries . student obtaine fully fundend MS anfd PHD oppertunity

- Infrastructure of the University is fantastic. It consists of too much open environment full of greenery like parks and playgrounds.
- There is a Games committee which have all the gaming facilities including Cricket, Football, Tennis grounds, Badminton courts, Swimming and Horseriding clubs, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid:
I paid approx 18,000 rupees college fees in the first year. While in 2nd, 3rd, 4th year I paid 5760 rupees college fees. Financially weak students also received scholarship from UP government every year. Topper students may get the benefits of ONGC scholarship (50,000 rupees) every year.

- Lots of waiting in getting room, which cause a little inconvenience.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is very simple, One has to submit a one-time fees for a year (in my course Rs 21165) which includes almost all expenses of the year like course fees, and hostel fees. There is an additional monthly dining charge of 1400. And now I have to pay continuation fees of approx Rs 10000 per year for the next 3 years. One other best financial assistance is a book bank where one can get all his course books for the course period at only 15% of the original book's cost. There are lots of other scholarships available also.

- placements are okay as compared to roi but it is still not high...
- The mainstream media overshows some news and defames it's reputation.
Fees and Financial Aid:
As such their is no fees hike policy. In the first year we have paid a one time tuition fee which was ?21140 (except newly introduced branches like Food Technology ?38140, AI ?66140 and Automobile ?66140) including ?2500 per year as annual hostel fees. Students apply national Scholorships/ state scholarships. Apart from that, College alumnis also offer multiple Scholorships like Lead Ignite Scholorship, AMU Association Washington DC Scholorship, AMU Alumni Association at Michigan UK, AMUSSGSA which offer financial assistance to masters or PhD in foreign universities.

The fees here at Aligarh Muslim University are very much affordable. There are many scholarship opportunities like Bader Jahan Scholarship which I received in my third year. There is campus selection also but not much.
