GMC Haldwani Scholarships 2025

Serial number one,Doon medical College -this college is also good, but this college is new, so I prefer GMC Haldwani over this Serial number two, Government medical College, Almora- This College is also new and located on Hill area, so I didn't prefer this as this is very far from my house. Admission process at Gmc Haldwani:- Eligibility is 10+2 with PCB and neat qualification and minimum age 17 years, Exam accepted. NEET UG is mandatory. CUT-OFF VERY ANNUALLY BASED ON CATEGORY AND ALSO THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF EXAM PROCESS ADMISSION THROUGH STATE COUNSELLING, UTTARAKHAND COUNSELLING ONLINE REGISTRATION, CHOICE, FILLING, AND SHEET ALLOTMENT BASED ON NEED AND CATEGORY AS ALL ABOUT DATA GYM. HALDWANI STOOD OUT OF THE BEST OPTION FOR ME DUE TO IT. BLEND OF AFFORDABILITY, QUALITY, EDUCATION, AND EXCELLENT CLINICAL EXPOSURE, AND ALSO THE DISTANCE IS LESS FROM MY HOME.

Night life in government medical College is not as much exciting like in other metropolitan city colleges because the college campus is great are closed after 10 PM, especially for girls restrict prohibited, but in boys after third year, the kids are opened so you can go out, but the city also get closed after 10 PM so there is no such places to go and Enjoy, but the college is near Delhi areas like Nainital, so you can enjoy these good places.

This was the first college that i applied to and i got admitted. The admission process of my college is quite cumbersome. The eligibility is based on the marks obtained in NEET exam. MBBS is most preferred by students, cutoffs for these exams varies every year.

Campus is really nice with a well maintained gym and completely air conditioned library

Dislikes

Vehicles are not allowed in the campus area which is a problem in rainy season or in summer
The lecture theatres are not air conditioned well

Admission:

I applied for all the government colleges in uttarakhand and gmc haldwani was my first choice as this college have the largest campus the biggest hospital and the most patient inflow. You have to give neet exam and you will be selected in the college through a state level councelling process based on merit

For getting into medical College for MBBS you have to qualify neet and for government seat you have to make good score and rank my state rank was 99 and I opted for this college because of closeness to my hometown Nainital and the campus is quite big and few of my friends were there to help me in college

Haldwani has the best campus in the uttarakhand. Also it has maximum number of pg seats and staff. The area where ethe college is located is very safe and easy to approach. Dehradun is also good but the campus is very small

Campus of the college is very beautiful and approx all type of facilities available like gum, library, sports activities. Faculties are good.
Yearly fests are organised every yr and you can enjoy as you can, canteen facility is also available.

Dislikes

Sometimes there is problem of electricity so sometimes it's difficult to manage in summer

Admission:

Cut off of the college is around 8-9k rank in general AIQ in first round or state Quata you cam get college in around 25k rank in general in last rost. But this year cif off will be very high according to marks . Admission process is easy staff is very helpful.

Pros and cons of my college

Likes

The campus of the college is very spacious and green.

Dislikes

The lecture hall doesn't have ac which makes it difficult for the students to concentrate.
The college lack extracurricular activities. Doesn't have clubs which makes the college life very monotonous and boring.

Admission:

The admission process is vet easy. After the allocation of the college the studnet have to physical present to the college with their original documents. Medical tests are done by the hospital faculty themselves.
