- The lecture halls doesn't have air conditioning which makes it difficult for the students to concentrate in the lectures.
- The college sports ground is not well maintained and the auditorium is also not available for student activity.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very interactive and helps the students to have a better understanding of the topic. There are 4 exams in each year which include term 1, term 2, pre-professionals, and professional exams. They are regular hospital visits for the virtual understanding of different diseases and their clinical symptoms.
Internships Opportunities
The college gives a mandatory internship of 1 year in the hospital (Sushila Tiwari hospital), where the students learn and gain experience. During that internship, The students were given a stipend of 17000 rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees for the course are 1 lakh 44 thousand, hostel fees-6000, mess fees-30000 and including other expenses for eg. Admission fees, the total fees for each year come to a total of 2 lakhs. The students can opt for scholarships from the national scholarship portal, through which they get a refund of their tuition fees.
Campus Life
The college has extracurricular activities. There are no clubs in the college and the fest of the college has not been held in the past 5 years. This makes college life very monotonous. There are library in the college with good stocks of books.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is quite affordable and have spacious rooms. But sometimes there is water problem and washrooms doesn't have proper flush system. The locality is also nice but the rented pg and rooms are not affordable.
Admission
The admission process is through the nta medical counselling for all students and for students with domicile it is through the Uttarakhand medical counselling portal. After the qualification of neet, the students can go for the counseling process. And after the allocation of the college they have to physically present in the college original documents, eg. Adhaar card, birth certificate, another certificate, 10 certificates, 12 certificates, and domicile if required.
Faculty
All the faculties of the college are well educated and intellectual. They are very supportive and understanding. They make the lectures very interactive and easy to understand the topic. The lectures are very interactive and helpful.
