An Institute less known

Colleges I opted for - Sgrr, Dehradun And hims, Jollygrant. I opted for hims as it has a better academic structure. Colleges are allotted on the basis of merit lists devised by hnbumu University itself. I availed defense ward personnel quota for admission in Hims. Councelling is done online on hnbumu site, however, to complete admission and submit documents you have to be physically present at doon medical college Dehradun.

Faculty : student varies from department to department and year to year.Around an average of 150 students an average of 5 faculty (30:1), Faculties are renounced, doctors. Exams dates are already scheduled for the given semester, it is medium difficult.

The hospital itself provides intership opportunities for one 1year which is mandatory for mbbs students. However, you can opt for other institutions too as proposed by nmc in itself recent guidelines if you are eligible. Interns are given desk work more often writing investigation, and some field work in community medicine.

Fees for my batch 2017 are decided by the govt at 4 lakh/annum, For batch 2017 there is no yearly hike however in mess and hostel it raises around 15% per year. No such scholarship program that I am aware of is awarded by the college.

No annual fest. However, a winter Mela is organized by 5he college in January but it has no relation to college. It has a religious side to it. The library is present and has more than you will ever need Campus has a football + cricket field + basketball x2 + badminton court x3 + tennis court x2 + volleyball court x2

The hostel has a generator of its own hence no light scarcity, Room is provided with a single bed + 1 study table. (X2 for double rooms). Hostel mess has a good menu but over time it becomes monotonous. Mess has veg menu (however on wed and Thursday eggs are provided). Hostel registration is done on the first day itself and it is quite easy.
