Remarks

Basically no good or bad remarks. Its just i am neutral, i don't really care how does our college runs as long as i get my degree. Since it's a government College you can imagine how it is.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

You could say it's fair but many students just mug up the knowledge and move on to next year. They or rather i should say we, just want to pass. No one cares about knowledge. In our field clinical knowledge is important but no one really bothers about it

Placement Experience

5

We don't really need to have placements, we have our one year of internship and then we have our Mandatory bonds. We have to fill them at the time of counseling. We serve our time to the country after that we are free to do anything.

College Events

0.5

Every major festivals are celebrated. Holi deepawali basant panchami makar sankranti Christmas Raksha Bandhan etc. It's quite good actually. Generally all the students participate and celebrate it together. First year students perform some cultural activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible since it's a government funded college its fees is quite reasonable. There are no additional charges except notrary charges at the time of admission and even it is also small. Yoy can say that it's even free laughing emojis. You don't really need to worry about your financial background.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well no need to avail a loan. Fees is quite low well you could avail a scholarship for extra bucks. I don't really know about this topic since neither i took a loan nor a scholarship.

Campus Life

0.5

A very diverse group of people atleast sexually. Girls outnumber the boys, since girls orefer this profession more. Regarding the sports we occasionally play among ourselves and there is a fest organized by our seniors yearly. Co curricular activities are held regularly.

Alumni/Alumna

Well what could i say this is the best part about our field. You have plenty of interaction with your seniors. They are just very helpful and loving. You would be stuck with them for your whole life.

Admission

I appeared for neet and cleared it. I wanted to earn good money so that's why i opted for it. After the result was out you have to appear for counseling, after that meeit list is drawn, then you fill your choices to whichever college you want to apply.

Faculty

0.5

Not that good, for the first two years of the course we have faculty albeit adequately. But after that you would be lucky if you even have a HOD of your subject. We just rely on our seniors to pave the way for us. They just tell us the main topics, we study them and pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course from this college due to its hospital. It is one of the best hospitals in uttrakhand. MBBS itself carry an important meaning in once life if they have decided to be a doctor. MBBS teachings here is only done to keep you ready for the real worlds. Case discussions are a regular thing here. Total there are 19 subjects that need to be studied within 4.5 years. Few subjects like PSM, AETCOM module should be scrapped completely. They only waste your time as maximum contents they cover are covered in other subjects and few left could be covered separately. It goes on for 3 years with unnecessary postings and practical where you discuss house dimensions, nutrition, etc.

-Specific aspects is the pattern of exams, that was MCQs pattern and now it has been changed to 50% MCQs and 50% theory. -Curriculum is prepared in the view of clinical knowledge, there are seminars and other group discussion is also added in curriculum apart from classes - The teaching methods should be changed from PPT to ppt + black board, because it's very boring to stare on ppt for an hour - we have to pass 4 exams in one year Mid terminal exam in the end of 3rd month of academic year End terminal exam in the end of 6th month of academic year And two professional exams at the end of the academic year Exams are not difficult, the difficulty level is moderate
