Likes

The college is equipped with well functional labs
The college has separate ground for separate sports
The college has its own fest which is held every year

Dislikes

The mess fee is slightly on higher side than expected
The boys hostels are not much well painted.
The girls have a restricted timing of around 12 am.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here the curriculum is very much strict with very few holidays in between. In normal days we have classes from 9 to 5pm in the evening. In addition to that we have regular opd and ward posting to boosten our clinical exposure.

Internships Opportunities

After 4.5 years of completing MBBS studies we have a year of internship.For the whole year of internship we are given a stipen of round Rs 35000(as of now). Along with that in our internship we are also exposed to see vrious clinical cases also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here at AIIMS RISHIKESH the cost of study for whole 5.5 year is Rs 19950 which iclude tuition fee, exam fees, hostel fee, electricity fee and lab fee.It is same for all students regardless of category.

Campus Life

Our college has a annual fest called Pyrexia which is held every year and a sports fest named Invicta which is also held every year.Our college also has a very well equipped and large library where more than thousand books are kept.

Hostel Facilities

Boy's hostel are given on the basis of professional year. A room may be of double sharing or single sharing. A Room consist of two study table, two chair, one wardrobe, one almirah, two beds with two mattresses .

Hostel Fee: INR 250 per year

Admission

I have AIIMS RISHIKESH as my second priority after AIIMS DELHI. My marls are not sufficient to mke it to my first choice. So I opted for this AIIMS. moreover the scenic beauty of this college compelled me to choose this.

Faculty

There is a strong and good faculty to student relationship.There are more than 6 faculty alloted to a batch of 125 for each subject along with 5-6 JR and SR.Here we have monthly exams as our internal assessment along with two terms,one pre proff and one proff.

Night Life

Our college also has a gym where fee is just Rs 300 for 3 months.Our college has a mess which has three floor divided on the basis of batch.In addition to that our college also has a millet a cafe in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course from this college due to its hospital. It is one of the best hospitals in uttrakhand. MBBS itself carry an important meaning in once life if they have decided to be a doctor. MBBS teachings here is only done to keep you ready for the real worlds. Case discussions are a regular thing here. Total there are 19 subjects that need to be studied within 4.5 years. Few subjects like PSM, AETCOM module should be scrapped completely. They only waste your time as maximum contents they cover are covered in other subjects and few left could be covered separately. It goes on for 3 years with unnecessary postings and practical where you discuss house dimensions, nutrition, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-Specific aspects is the pattern of exams, that was MCQs pattern and now it has been changed to 50% MCQs and 50% theory. -Curriculum is prepared in the view of clinical knowledge, there are seminars and other group discussion is also added in curriculum apart from classes - The teaching methods should be changed from PPT to ppt + black board, because it's very boring to stare on ppt for an hour - we have to pass 4 exams in one year Mid terminal exam in the end of 3rd month of academic year End terminal exam in the end of 6th month of academic year And two professional exams at the end of the academic year Exams are not difficult, the difficulty level is moderate

MBBD in GMC Haldwani

Placement Experience:

After passing the MBBS every student is eligible for the campus placement. There are no companies that visit the college for placement because the students are placed under the government. All students are provided the pay decided by the government. 100% of students qualifying MBBS are getting placements. After getting the degree I have a plan on appearing in the NEET PG exam and after qualification, I will be doing features in any of the qualified branches.

AIIMS Rishikesh, A beautiful campus medical college located in the holy city of Rishikesh.

I chose this college because here examination pattern was earlier 100 multiple choice questions, now it is 50 per cent multiple choice questions and 50 per cent subjective answers. The campus is lush green and well-developed. The college has very luxurious lecture theatres and a huge auditorium. I got rejected from AIIMS New Delhi because it required a better rank in the entrance examination. Admission is on the basis of rank in the NEET-UG entrance examination. Cut-offs for general/UR category students are usually between 800-1000 AIR. The admission process is very streamlined after you get the allotment letter....Read More
