Remarks

The college is excellent in terms of studies and reputation. It is renowned college of the state and being medical college, the patient inflow is also high. The teachers are excellent. However there is not much attention given to cultural activities and sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS course is very well known and one of the most prestigious courses to study. However it is a bit challenging academically. Entrance to the course is also a challenging and arduous task. The limited number of seat is a obstacle in itself. However passion is a major driving force for choosing this course.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement is a guaranteed option in the course. job opportunities are also excellent. is a profeesional degree in medical science. A person holding the MBBS degree becomes a certified medical practitioner. The college also provides internship with reasonable stipend.

College Events

2.5

Events like festivals and national holidays are celebrated with enthusiasm and passion. As it is a university various colleges contribute to a festival and over-all grand experience is thus observed. Inter college sports competition are also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure lies towards the higher side. It is although as expected from a private medical college in today's date. The fees is in comparison to other private medical colleges of the country. Also a 15% rebate is offered to students with a domicile of Uttarakhand.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Scholarship is available by way of national scholarship portals. Loan facility is also available. Although personally I have not opted for any of these options. Fellowship program are also available and there is stipend for pg students.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs and practical facilities are excellent. Labs are equipped with all necessary equipment and all practical are conducted with ease and fully. Sport facility is moderate and there is a large playing ground and also profeesional courts available to play on.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes. Accomodation facility is adequate with sharing basis 2 per room. A/C is available and over-all satisfactory experience. Rooms are decently sized with attached balcony. There is enough space available for storage and windows are big and good.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is quite good. The alumni are specially mentioned on the official website and easily searchable. Senior Student are corporative and supportive. The vastness and pressure of the course does not allow much interaction.

Admission

Admission in college is through all India level extrance exam NEET. Admission is by merit list criteria. 40% seats are reserved for students from domicile state of Uttarakhand. There are also other reservations like sc, st, OBC and women.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is excellent and there are no two ways about this. The teachers are reputed profeesors and doctors who are excellent in their job and well versed with the subjects they teach. Teachers are punctual and everready to help a student.

The best part is the 50 percent objective pattern which keeps you in touch with the pg exam pattern. The exams are designed well as in its easy to pass and then there are questions that differentiate toppers ????. But overall the paper is made such that passingis never an issue if your basic concepts are clear

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevantly relevant. The curriculum provides early clinical exposure which prepares us for the real world experiences since the beginning of the course. It attracted me and i decided to choose this course. The curriculum helps us deal with the real world problems. The area where it needs to be improved is making the students learn from experience rather than making them mugup things. The course is vast and isn't easy to learn each and every thing, but via clinical exposure, students retain more and learn more.

Exams are 50 percent MCQS AND 50 percent subjective preparing us for INICET/NEET PG and USMLE at the same time. What else do you want from a med school? Also, we have 2 hours of practical classes and 3 hours of clinical posting which prepares us to face practical problems and provide immense exposure. Minor tests are held every week. Major exams are held six monthly.

Placement Experience:

After passing the MBBS every student is eligible for the campus placement. There are no companies that visit the college for placement because the students are placed under the government. All students are provided the pay decided by the government. 100% of students qualifying MBBS are getting placements. After getting the degree I have a plan on appearing in the NEET PG exam and after qualification, I will be doing features in any of the qualified branches.
