Quality of education is good ..professors are dedicated towards their work
campus is large ..and college have several separate departments
hostels are affordable and are properly equiped

Dislikes

lack of Faculty in some departments is a major issue
old infrastructure of college like lecture theatre does not give good experience to students

bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (mbbs) is a very renowned and respectable course . i personally chosen this course because of the respect people get after becoming doctor real clinical cases and practicals help u to understand better improvement should be in the practical works in department i guess .. the practical explanation is more important according to me

internship is availed after you pass you final year exams in the college and the ammount paid every month by government is 17500 rs .the hospital is located 2 kms away from hostel of college for the duty of interns

Admission fee -10-15 k yearly fee is 1 lakh 45 thousand for college 5 thousand development fee 6 thousand hostel fee mess fee - 36000 scholarship for sc is - 1lakh 60 thousand obc - 20 thousand for one year

campus life of hakdwani medical college is good as compared to other medical colleges in uttrakhand every block is well organised wheather it is faculty of students or support staff .. the environment here is very good

Hostel Facilities

my hostel is situated within campus and is well equiped with all essential things 24x7 electricity backup and airy rooms .. in a room 2 students can be accommodated the hostel mess is good and situated next to hostel food is also upto the mark

government medical college haldwani is the oldest college of uttrakhand and is a prestigious institute the faculty the hostels and the campus area is good enough this colkege is also close from my hometown

Faculty

Faculty members are highly qualified and the way of expression is also very good but , the faculty to student ratio is very low in some department like pharmacology and community medicine one of the best faculty i found till now is professor dr vandana anatomy department and professor dr hs pandey pathology

My honest thoughts

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college curriculum is relevant to our course in this field we save lives of many patients which influenced me the most that's why I always wanted to become a doctor. After the inter introduction of clinical posting we get early exposure to the patients which prepare us for real word application of our knowledge. Time to time exams are conducted here to test are abilities and areas and subjects so that we can improve in that particular field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Attendance criteria is 75 percent it should be reduced More practical based ques should be asked in the exam and more emphasis on practical knowledge should be done. Proper class test of each subject should be conducted. We have yearly based exams.

Placement Experience:

We get a stipend internship of 17000 per month and after the internship, if u have a bond then u get 5 yr compulsory service under the government of which u get a salary of 70000-80000 per month. You can post in hilly areas.

HIMS mbbs college(dehradun) review

Remarks:

The college is excellent in terms of studies and reputation. It is renowned college of the state and being medical college, the patient inflow is also high. The teachers are excellent. However there is not much attention given to cultural activities and sports.

Perfect place for quality education

Remarks:

Apart from the fee structure the rest facility in the college is nice. Education is good quality and hospital facility is also nice. Life in college is decent and the extra corricular activities are also ediquate.

I choose government medical College Haldwani because of its affordable fee structure. Excellent clinical exposure and reputation as one of in Uttarakhand. It offers a balance of quality education and hands on patient care due to its association with a high patient hospital. Comparison with other college colleges applied to. Serial number one,Doon medical College -this college is also good, but this college is new, so I prefer GMC Haldwani over this Serial number two, Government medical College, Almora- This College is also new and located on Hill area, so I didn't prefer this as this is very far from my house. Admission process at Gmc Haldwani:- Eligibility is 10+2 with PCB and neat qualification and minimum age 17 years, Exam accepted. NEET UG is mandatory.
