GCC Guwahati Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The exams are moderate level. But the timing of the exams are quite uncertain. It is a well reputed college with variations in their course offered. So I have opted for this college moreover the fees structure is also relatively low as compared to other colleges

My plans after getting degree is taking a ca course if i didn't get and campus placement because ca is a professional course and most students prefer for ca course for future references and the placement percentage of students getting is 1.9%.

I have passed 12 th with commerce and BCom is the key to success for a commerce student Our curriculum encourages real learing and working internships Less no of subjects can be a good part for the course

The College specialises in the field of Commerce and qualified professors are alloted to each department. It helps to gain knowledge and apply in the real world. It's helps to achieve appealing results in case of pursual of further academic courses. However, the syllabus for the course can be covered efficiently if proper measure are taken . Also , although the teaching methods are okayish, it can be improved , so that students understand better . There is a need for better student-teacher communication in the classroom. Exams are taken twice per semester, namely, mid terms and end semester exams . Although the frequency of the exams are fine but the timings of exams are not so appealing for students as end sems are conducted as soon as 3 and half months of class is completed. Where in real sense it should be conducted after atleast 5 months . Mid term exams are not that difficult but the end semester exams tend to be averagely difficult.

Course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is good but not in the level students might expect it to be because of the irregularities present in the FYUGP system...courses include not wanted subjects for extra knowledge but instead gives more pressure

Yeass the teaching methods are also too good of our college. I don't get much time to attend college everyday but whenever I do I understand everything about the topic. The professor are too good of our college

I chose this college in my mind while I was In 7th grade Because my brother got admission in this college from then till now I heared only good things about this college so it's a pleasure to be a part of this college

Pursuing b.com was my plan to do after 12 because it has a scope for doing something in the field of commerce. About improvement in teaching pratical should be involved. For exams it's ok the way it is .

The exam level is normal from my point of view , it is conducted either morning or afternoon with good time for completing the exam . There should be more need of technology in the campus and activities

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements since i am still studying in there so i don't have much knowledge about placements in the college so i have skip this part. I will able to tell about this when i reach 6th semester in bcom
