The college i study in is very good

Faculty:

The marking scheme is very good the credit score is also helpful for the students. The exam checking way is also very good an helpful. The exam also held in a very systematic way so the exam writing system is very good and comfortable .

I am not sure but I think that the student to teacher ratio might be 70:1 . The faculty is very approachable (except few) as I also mentioned earlier . One of the teacher I would like to mention is Kaberi ma'am from the accounts department. She is very very helping and kind . She is more like a mother figure to me whom I can approach at any time . Another faculty I would like to mention is Nipon Sir who is probably the most humourous person in the whole college . He's humour is unmatchable . Yes there are some faculties (2-3 of them) whom the students don't like because maybe they are very strict but according to me I feel if we behave and listen according to what they say they are good + I also feel they are very knowledgeable. There are around 2 exams per semester along with quizzes , group discussions , assignments, projects etc .

The faculty ratio is fine with ample number of teachers for students. All the teachers are fine no grudges. There are two exams in each semester sessional if absent resessional and final examination at las he.

The faculty members are very good and helpful, supportive in everything and understanding, course structure is is very simple and you will not have much problem with it, exams are semester wise, 2 exams per semester, sessionals and finals, marking schemes are available in Gauhati University offical website

Full fledged review about the "GAUHATI COMMERCE COLLEGE"

The number of faculties is quite good. Some facilities are there who are very old and old fashioned, their teaching skill is not good. They don't know how to engage students in the class. But most of the teachers are the best , their teaching style is quite impressive, they connect with students very well. There are 2 exams, one is sessional exam which is for approx 30-40 marks and the final exam that is for 35-60 marks depending upon the subject. There a also quiz, group discussion, tests held in between and also assignmens are given.

Faculty is friendly, interactive and helpful.

All the faculties are very nice and easy to get along. Accountancy and Economics are the best faculties in my point of view. Though some of the teachers can be strict like J.K.B Sir and H.K. Deka Sir but they are nice too.

My honest review for my college

The teachers could have been better and more supportive.

The faculty-to-student ratio is good. But not all faculty members provided good guidance. Management and business department teachers were fine. But a few elderly professors were rude. Exams were average and sometimes tough. There is a subject of business maths and a lot of students suffer backlogs in this.

Fun loving college

The college faculty and teaching methods are good and the teachers are friendly to everyone.

Both the teachers and the students are not punctual.They don't follow the time .

The faculty to student relationship is overall good . They try to solve our problems if we are facing any . They look for the betterment and improvement for us . There is no such particular teacher which I can say is bad or i don't like them because everyone is good and they they loves all the students equally.

The oldest and one of the best Commerce College of Northeast.

Faculty is well qualified, teaching methodology is good.

Faculty to student ratio is very optimum. The faculties are very much approachable, they are always there to help the students. Most of them are humble and friendly. I like majority of the faculties. Many concepts which are so hard have been taught by them in the simplest of the way. There too exists some bad teachers also , but mainly I feel they aren't much goodin english so that why they are not much good while explaining the things. A sessional exam is held before the semester exams. The exam consists of good quality questions.
