The college i study in is very good

Likes

The peoples and the seniors also the staff is very good because they are always supporting and helps us to focus on our study’s by providing a very good environment.
The campus is very good it provides us a AC rooms,a good canteen,also gym and nice parking facilities. Also they provide cooling water aqua so that we stay hydrated.
The teaching staff is very very supportive.

Dislikes

Honestly there’s nothing to dislike but the bathroom cleaning can be improved.
The watter logging can be improved by providing a well drainage system.
The college auditorium could be included and hygienity could be maintained.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides a very good internship opportunities from 3rd semester itself and also 5-6 thousand stipend. And also its very beneficial for us because its provides us very good environment and stipend too.

The teachers are very knowledgeable about their subjects and provide all the necessary details about the topics
The college library I feel is very well filled with books from all spheres and disciplines .
There are frequent events and competitions which help students to showcase and enhance their skills and participate in various events

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is too old and I feel it need renovation
Some students lack civic sense which hampers the campus and makes it dirty

Internships Opportunities:

Internships offers are mostly provided through whatsapp groups . Students of different major courses do internships accordingly to their major subject like accounts major students mostly work under CAs . Students have to prepare a report of their internships as to what did they do , what did they learn etc etc and then they need to present their internship reports in the class . I don't know exactly in which sem this needs to be done but probably this is done in the 3rd or 5th sem . I haven't done any internship yet since I am just in 1st sem but I am looking forward to working under a CA since I will also change my major course from HRM to accountancy

Likes

Our college faculties are the best. Their teachings methods are good. They are punctual about time.
It provides a good environment with all necessary things.
It has a library and there are many courses available like B.COM, BBA. MBA. BCA etc.

Dislikes

Boys' toilet condition is not so good. It can be improved but it is not soo bad. Means it is average
The college infrastructure is quite old. It has much more scope for improvement

Internships Opportunities:

There are not many good placement opportunities but the college is working on that for good campus placements. But the students get good chances outside after passing from this institution. The activities and the course here makes the students able for any type of jobs.

The most convenient commerce college.

Likes

The things the liked the most is the discipline curriculum of the teachers and the management.
And also the washroom s are mostly clean.and The playing ground provides a field for many sports.
Although the classroom s are clean but it can be better.

Dislikes

Not much facilities for handicapped students.
The girl to boy ratio is quite equivalent
The canteen is much costly.Not affordable for students belonging to bpl.

Internships Opportunities:

The companys are amazon flipkart and sbi banks and many other international companies.also tata provies internship programes for students.the projects and outcome clarify the task are much convenient for the stundents

There are a lot of opportunities for our personal development
The faculty members are very kind and well behaved
There are NCC , NSS , and other units that help you explore various adventures

Dislikes

Most of the AC are not in working condition
Floods on rainy days , even a tiny rain is enough to cause flood
Rules for attendance of students aren't strict enough

Internships Opportunities:

* Reliance telecom, IndiGo , Tata motors but most of these are paid internships and students choose the internship as per their desire * They are offered projects like preparing the excel sheet and are paid for doing in within a specified period of time

My experience at Gauhati commerce college

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus and the teachers they are very sweet and helpful. And I like the events held in college it's just mind-blowing
I like when in our college the college week is happened it is for 1 week and several activities are held like sports cultural events debates poem writing etc. and at the last day the award is distributed to the winners
I also like that in our college is there is nothing related to ragging as I heard it happens in various colleges but in GCC it doesn't happen which is a very good thing

Dislikes

As in many colleges some big singers came for the event or for concert but it doesn't happen in Gauhati commerce college
The college canteen it's sucks the college food is not good at all and it's little bit costly also and the space is also very small
On our college I heard that no companies come for the placement and there is no one campus placement kind of thing

Internships Opportunities:

As I know no companies come for placements or internship the students have to do the internship by their own. The internship are to be done at the four semester The projects are given by our college teacher for internal marks.

Unveiling Gauhati Commere College campus life and academic environment

Likes

The college campus needs improvement. It needs to be bigger for such a college
Only a few of the teachers takes classes in English which I think should be more
Environment around students aren’t that great. The students need to socialise more without shyness and ego

Dislikes

The environment needs improvement including the students and the campus

Internships Opportunities:

AICTE internships and many other internships from various companies including MSME are available which I believe is a wonderful opportunity for the students to experience and explore. Students are given internship time during the summer holidays to fulfill the internship needs of a student.

The campus and fees structure I liked the most as the campus is very beautiful and the fee structure is less.
The faculty members are good and explain well.

Placement Experience:

My plans after getting degree is taking a ca course if i didn't get and campus placement because ca is a professional course and most students prefer for ca course for future references and the placement percentage of students getting is 1.9%.

Likes

The college students and staffs are very friendly and help in every question and provide education online also and if you have any doubt you can personally call the teacher or reach to the department
In our college it have different courses like higher secondary in commerce and Bcom Bba Bca Mba Mcom Since i am studying bcom so there are four major course you can choose which are finance accounts Human Resource management and market management
I have choose finance and studying it. And our college infrastructure is very big with so many buildings which are divided with departments and gym library and a big playground and common rooms are also there and parking lots with every where cctv

Dislikes

There is no non veg food served in canteen on thrusdays
There are no things that i dislike everything is good
If someone once to enjoy college life including studying its best

Internships Opportunities:

Since i have tell once that i am still studying in college and didn't reach the higher sems now i can tell it when i reach the higher semesters and get in touch with the internship programs accourding to me mainly financial comapnies are there

Likes

Fee structure is very less. Quality of faculty is also very good.
Overall quality of education provided is also very nice

Dislikes

Campus life is absent and the quality of campus is very poor

Internships Opportunities:

No intership is provided by the college. One should not have any intership goals if they are choosing this college. No stipend is provided since there is no intership present. During 5th sem they ask you to do a project on so business case study thats it
