Alva’s College Admission 2025

Alva’s College, Moodbidri, offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs across streams such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Computer Applications, and Social Work. Popular UG courses include BA, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BCA, BSW, while PG programs include MA, M.Com, MSc, MSW, and PGDM. For admission to the UG programs, candidates must have completed 10+2 / PUC from a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate marks (subject-specific requirements may apply, e.g., Mathematics for BCA/BSc). Improving myself and my career

Likes

The environment there is a great to thing to learn there.
They will provide a better education with good quality .
And also placement, internship programs will also be provided.

Dislikes

They will give more importance to education rather than co curriculum activities
Thet keep classes in holidays also. And lots of works will be there.
And they will start the classes early in the morning and it will extended to late evening. It will be a problem for daily travellers.

Student view on exams

Exams will be conucted once in month. They conduct 2 exams before the semester exams which will help us to take good marks in our semester exams and also to gain knowledge. They will prepare us to the real world with providing lots of knowledge they will also take us to the internship programs. We should have to pass it thats it. And they also provide placement. Learning here will be great decision for our life.

Top companies providing internship

Im studing now in 2nd year bcom as of now iam in 3rd sem by the time i have attended to internship they will conduct aptitude test we have to pass that test, even if we fail in first attempt it will be not an big issue because it will be an learning for our next company to prepare ourselves better, top companies will come, like ey, exl, withum etc

Placement provided by the college

We will get placement opportunities one we reach our 5th semester. More than 50 companies will come there for the purpose of placement. High package companies will arrive for the purpose of placement. More than 50% of students will be settled at the time of their graduation.

Yearly fees of the college

Year wise we have to pay 35,500 and concession will be there according to our marks. When we get admissions that time they tell about concession that we are getting according to our puc Mark's and in the second they will also provide concession according to our both semester marks. Also the students belongs to Mijar side will get also get concession in their fees. There will be instalment in paying the fees. There will no fees for admission.

College fest and various activities

There will be a great fest will be conducted such as alvas virasath, alvas nudisiri and traditional day program, annual day, and also they will give moew importance to students who are getting medals in sports, there will be nss, ncc programs which will enhance leadership qualities of students.

Faculties are good. They will teach everything. And we can grab the thing what they are teaching very easily and also they will try to enhance our skills and knowledge by conducting activities. They will try to increase our communication skills by conducting seminars and presentation

I have to one other college before joing here. First i thought i took a wrong decision by joining here. But now its an great decision taken by me. Because comparing to other college's alvas is and best college which prepares us to take a better job in any company by providing lots of training programs.

Night life inside the campus

More than 4 canteens are there within our campus and also stationary shops. Students need not to worry about that. Xerox centers are also there within the campus, atm facilities are there. Hostel facilities are there for borh boys and girls, student's are coming to learn here from outside the state.

I chose this college because it was a wise decision as it was in close proximity to my residence and was quite well known,reputed and better compared to other colleges in the district.I did not get rejected from other colleges but choosing this one seemed to be a wise decision. Any person with decent grades in his 12th can get admitted in my college until the seats are full

I am from Moodbidri. The alva's college has created a quality of education not only in Moodbidri but also in other districts. So many students of other districts come to alvas to take the education. Alva's college is near to my house and also there is the wide opportunities in placement. Even thuogh my sister and brothers also studied here itself and placed in good position and leading the better life . One of the best thing I can like in my college is that the vision of my college that is "Moulding better tomorrow through Educational, Cultural and Sports Excellence".

Dislikes

I can mention all the dislikes things in the above, other than there is no dislikes are there in my college.
In my college free periods are very less, sometimes many students are dislike this. Free periods are very important for the students that can make students more energetic.
In my college dislikes things are very less. One of the dislike thing Is my college having very strict rules, it is necessary but sometimes due to this some students are face many problems, so can dislike this.

Admission:

I applied only this College. Because this college plays a greater role in many success students life. This college having very good name at all the sections. If you are good at studies then this college gave good opportunities to study in better way and get success in studies field. If you are good at sports fields then you can get more opportunities in sports field. This college is very good at sports fields. If you are good at cultural fields then you can join cultural team and you can get more opportunities in cultural fiels to perform cultural programs. This college is gave opportunity you to join education field, sports field, cultural field. It is helpful for the students in many ways. So, I can join this college. The admission process are same like other colleges. If you having good marks then the admission officers are suggest you the good courses like the same level of you marks it is helpful for the students to take good courses.

I did my pre University in alvas college in Arts course so I was selected in sports quota so there will be free for the sports quota in alvas only they will charge 5000 to 6000 every year and rest all are free for the sports quota so I did my Bachelor degree in alvas because they provide good education along with the sports

Likes

I liked the campus it is very cool and beautiful. On of the best campus I have ever seen. There are cafeterias and stationary at almost every corner of the campus
The food in the campus is very good, I liked it personally.

Dislikes

Little less events and programs compared to other colleges
Classrooms are little messy but manageable
It is very strict and too many restrictions for students

Admission:

I chose this college because the education quality is advanced compared to other institutions. I never applied to any other colleges and got direct admission into this college for my course. There was no entrance exam for the college too. You just need to be a 12th pass student to pursue the course.
