Life in CAT THENI

Likes

I liked the atmosphere and the natural aspects around the college
The college provides excellent hostel facilities and nutritious food
The college take students to many exposure visits for practical learning of students

Dislikes

The fees structure is little bit high ..also they collect fines for late payment of fees
There is no wifi connection in the hostel..and the hostel is also situated in slow network coverage area
The college atmosphere is a little bit confusing with so much halls in the same name

This course has a very strong and effective curriculum which covers all the aspects of agricultural.Not only agriculture but also it covers the various allied aspects and subjects related to agriculture which helps the students to learn agriculture in a full fledged manner

Likes

With friends I enjoyed lot to talk, playing shuttle hock,studying in group, talk about family ,it's all good and enjoyable
In classroom, learning the class is also interesting to me
In hostel, we enjoyed more with friends.There is unforgettable memories.

Dislikes

Practical exam time there should be so rush
There is some teacher not teach well only scold

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in studying science. Student:faculty ratio is 40:450 Phd scholar only teach through projector rarely used board to teach One or two MSC scholar also teach Midsem conduct for 20 marks, practical exam for 40 marks, sem end exam conducted for 60 marks. Totally we have to take 65 marks to pass. That is more difficult. because there is no time to study full syllabus

Remarks:

There are nearly 30 pvt. Clgs in tamilnadu.But this is the only college which is started earlier.so the number of passet out is many. College infrastructure is also good while comparing with other pvt. Colleges.It is the only pvt. Clg to have ICAR accreditations in tamilnadu.one can opt PG entrance exam only if the clg is accredited with ICAR according to latest notifications.Hence this is the only private college with ICAR accreditation.The only college without uniforms.We also have atleast 5 outdoor tours during each semester.Final years will have ALL INDIA tour for 25 days.
