SSM college of engineering overview

Likes

Firstly the sports activities should get better and they should atleast organise some fests per semester. Currently they aren't doing like this anything and i think they should do
The social interaction is pretty good it depends on you nature and youe behaviour.
The teaching techniques of teachers are pretty good. And some teachers are kind plus friendly with the students.

Dislikes

The college doesn't have any gym and they are not that much good in sports activities.
The time delay and bus hostel service of college as the college hostel is now closed by the govt
The department computers are of old models and i think they should change them and i think it will happen in coming days.

Placement Experience:

I don't have that much idea about placements but the one thing is that if you have skills and a good cgpa you will get a good placement. And my plans after degree to apply firstly from the college and if get a good placement then i will join . Otherwise i will go as private or for higher studies.

Likes

Well to be honest we have good infrastructure.
SSM has decent campus. Not that good but its okay.
Since its an affiliate college so rules and regulations are up to mark.

Dislikes

The management is not that good. I will not say its the worst but neither is it that good.
Location of the collage. I mean come on its on too of a mountain tbh.

Internships Opportunities:

As i just joined third semester, so i don't know anything about internships right now. One thing i know is that ssm is tied up with someone for internships and all but i am not sure about it. Better to say nothing than lying.

Overall better to best

Likes

Good workshop with latest machines and equipments
Admistrative premises was good with friendly faculty
Canteen facilities with all kinds of items

Dislikes

senior students was doing ragging to junior students
Semester result was delayed which directly effects the course time.
Limited courses was there and placement takes less...

Internships Opportunities:

Some mncs like Google and various companies introduce some seminars and workshops and also some companies make placement. Speed controlled automatic speed breaker was my project during my internship highlly usefull at accident prone areas..

I preffered this college because it is located in our region.
Masti is more in our college, not any strickness there

Results are comming tooo late

jio is providing many jobs in our college, bsnl also and airtel b, many companies like Vistara, indigo, spice jet, are providing jobs for our students, I also want a job but I have many backlogs.

In SSM College Of Engineering And Technology, Baramulla Placement was done after the 6th semester. Many companies had visited the SSM College Of Engineering And Technology for placement.
