I appeared for common entrance test and got admission in civil engineering (BE). I also got selected for admission outside state but since this was in my state so I preferred this college After getting selected on sept 2016,there was document verification first at counseling then at college level. I had to submit all documents like 12th marksheet jkbopee admit card PRC provisional certificate. While document verification happened in sept 2016,we finally joined class in Oct 2016. First 2 SEMESTER are same for everyone then you go into your departments. As far as the good aspects1)your attendance is checked and parents informed otherwise if not regular2)updated infrastructure 3) good cocurrical activities Bad aspects 1)Exams take longer2) results also take longer time3) You have to take transport facilities even if you don't wish4) IT section is on slower side
Course Curriculum Overview
I got higher rank in entrance test,so I opted for civil engineering.Also I like to be civil engineer.Faculty are qualified and well trained with everyone with masters degree in their subjects.There are 2 semesters in 1 year and a lot of internals and practicals
Placement Experience
I was doing civil engineering and companies would come from 6th semester. OIC visited during my period there and only one student got package of 60000 in OIC. Other wouldn't not give you more than 10000 package.
Fee Structure And Facilities
We had 40000 per year,but they do increment with every year about 5000 get hiked. Other costs include transportation fee and are manageable. But you get assistance from hrd scholarship of 30000 per year
Campus Life
When I got admission,first few months I felt socially isolated but with time you make friends and after 1 year you feel perfectly comfortable. Cricket tournaments are held regularly and every festival is celebrated with open air theaters
