Faculty is great the faculty members are highly knowledgeable and bring a wealth of experience to the classroom.
Mou has been signed between iit dharwad and iiit dharwad which will increase the placements opportunities and increase the level of learning.
We have a good classrooms with well furniture and a smart tv and even a good speed wifi in every class.

Dislikes

1: 7 ratio faculties are chill , but they are not teaching as expected this is very poor , not giving exact grades , more absenties than students interaction is on 24/7 like hi hello... greetingd of the day
Chicken is not present in the mess menu which is very sad.
Students have to get it on their own most of the time because the placement cell is very bad.

Likes

The Teaching Curriculum is so nice of our college compared to others
The Enviornment surrounding our college is so Evergreen and Fresh Air
The faculties are also supportive and best

Dislikes

The sports ground was still short and working condition
Hostel accomodations and too much but now they are building a new hostel so its good to see in future

currently i dont know much about year eligibility of placement of our college . Like companies like Amazon , Delloite , Indiamart,Cisco ,IBM, Mercedez benz R&d INDIA,Oracle , NVIDIA, Samsung,Tata, Wipro, currently in 2025 average package is of 11.9 LPA highest CTC is 71.94 LPA and median is 9.34 LPA currently 77,23% placed and remains ongoing Doing my masters in mechatronics or CSE from IITs or from Foreign univerisites

Students are offered placements from 6th semester itself they get selected for internships , companies like amazon, Google,tcs,siemen and many others visited us and students can get their job from outside state.

Atmosphere, education,way of teaching,food
Rooms, friendly faculty available when needed
Cultural clubs ,technological clubs, fests

Dislikes

More heat during summer which will be difficult for some students
No cleaning facility inside the rooms but they do clean the corridors
Nothing more evrything is doing well in this college

Placement Experience:

The average package of our college is 900000 and the highest package is 4500000 when it comes to placements 80 percent of the students are definitely placed the highest packages are usually got by the data science students

All about IIIT dharwad

Likes

Best architecture and best hostel rooms.
Only three members for a room, too calm it's feasible to enhance your learning
Good faculty, when coming to academics not bad

Dislikes

Campus is in very small acres just 60 acres
Very less time for sports and other cultural activities
Academics are not too good we have to learn more personally

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd and 4th year are eligible for campus placements.highest package for year 2025 is 45 lakhs, average 9 lakhs.percentage of students getting placements:75,my plans after getting degree getting a job

research department of college is very good...all the professors are engaged in their projects so if you maintain good connection with professor, you might get the chance to help in their projects
Krc which is knowledge resource centre is nice and comfortable area to study .... full air conditioned library
seniors are very good ,helpful and they treat us like their small brothers and sisters. ragging is not gonna happen so dont worry

Dislikes

attendance criteria: college has 85% mandatory attendance which is problematic sometimes
faculty : some of the faculties are very good.... but not all
campus size : campus is very small like its only 60 acres

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semseter(4th year) companies like TCS,amazon , microsoft , Nvidia , oracle , infosys ,wipro and various startups visit for placements..cs related roles are most in demand highest package: 80 lakh this year by nvidia average package is 9 lakh pa profiles offered are software engineers data analyst aiml engineer and embedded systems engineer plaacement percentage is like 70-90% depending on the year wheather there is recession or not my plans after degree is to get a good job and if not than higher studies.

Faculty is very understanding and easy to communicate with.
There are a lot of club workshops which are held regularly in the college.
Their is a resort in front of the college which has a swimming pool, so it is easy for students to go there and enjoy.

Dislikes

85% Attendance is mandatory for sitting in exams
Sports infrastructure is not very good .
One more hostel is still to be constructed as a result they have a temporary hostel outside the campus

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements in the 3rd year of their B.Tech course. Big companoes like Oracle, Nvidia, Microsoft and Google visit the campus along with other companies like TCS , Infosys etc. The percentage of students placed is above 70 percent.

LIFE AT IIIT DHARWAD

Likes

There is no restriction for hostel entry one can roam whole night in campus without any issue.
New infrastructure of buildings giving it a good look
Extremely friendly faculty, some faculty treat us like their own brother

Dislikes

The mess food of the hostel is so bad. Sometimes it feels like to skip
There is no facility for sports enthusiasts like grounds, equipments etc.
Low or no network in hostel making it difficult to even make a call sometimes.

Placement Experience:

As I'm still in 1st year, I don't have much information regarding placement. All I heard from seniors and other faculty is that the placement rate is good as compared to other private colleges. Nvidia, TCS, InfoSys, Oracle, Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. College doesn't have any problem with students sitting for placement. It depends on the companies criteria. For example Nvidia set 7.5 CPI minimum.

I THINK FROM 7TH SEMESTER PEOPLE ARE GETTING CAMPUS PLACEMENTS AND I DONT HABE PRETTY IDEA ABOUT WHICH COMPANIES ARE COMMING WE GOT A HIGHEST PACKAGE OF 50 PLA AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OF 9.54 LPA FOR CSE BRANCH . I DONT HAE IDEA THAT PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED .

My college has its own campus which very good
College has very good facilities for playing various sports and fitness centres
Yearly increasing placements and opportunities for various internships

Dislikes

Very low girls to boys ratio maybe around 1:20
The campus placement is very far from the city
Mess food quality is very bad. And very less canteens inside the campus

From past two years the campus placements are going good for our college and increasing yearly and all the students are eligible for placements after 7th semester now nearly 80 percent students sre getting placed and my plan is to pursue mtech

Newly made lush green campus with great infrastructure.
Newly appointed director is really working hard for the devlopement of the college.
Professors are nice and friendly except few.
