honest review about iiit dharwad

curriculum is designed by keeping in mind things like strong focus on cs , aiml and emerging technologies. coding intensive with hackathon and projects , elective and research opportunities. good foundation for higher studies like mtech ms phs etc regular midterms end terms and quizzes will be taken core subjects like DSA math are tough others are moderate area for improvement: more industry interaction shoud be there and labs and resources should be increased

since i am in first year so i dont know much about internships personaaly but i am seeing seniors getting internships at infoklash and various other place so there is opportunities..some students are aslo research intern at iit bombay

students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semseter(4th year) companies like TCS,amazon , microsoft , Nvidia , oracle , infosys ,wipro and various startups visit for placements..cs related roles are most in demand highest package: 80 lakh this year by nvidia average package is 9 lakh pa profiles offered are software engineers data analyst aiml engineer and embedded systems engineer plaacement percentage is like 70-90% depending on the year wheather there is recession or not my plans after degree is to get a good job and if not than higher studies.

our college provides various scholarship opportunities some of them are government affiliated...but u should fulfill the criteria of that scholarship like one of the criteria is family income should be less than 8lakh per annum .... yearly fees of our college iiit dwd is nearly 4lakh 15 thousand including hostel messs.. breakdown perr semester is 167400 is tution fees and 25000 is hostel and 20000 is mess fees ...30000 caution fees is one time only which will be paid at the starting of 1 sem . and most important is tution fees is same for all semester but hostel and mess fess keep on increasing every year ....for more information about fees go to the fees structure uploaded on college website

clubs of iiit dwd are very good both cultural and technical clubs are awsome .. annual cultural fest : "sangeet" and "habba" usually held in march and april for library wide range of books , research papers and online journals digital libraries like IEEE are also available smart classrooms with projectors , whiteboards and good seating , wifi is available inn whole campus but problem is you only get 12gb per day limit students club: iridesence club - best photography club and various other clubs all kinds of technical clubs are there sports facilities are very good

in room you are provided by 2 bunker beds for 4 people, 4 almirah , 4 table chairs and strong wifi connection mess quality is okay okay sometimes good but all the time bad menu includes rice chappati dal vegetables curd and one sweet item for breakfast and snacks a fruit will be served daily registration done during admission or semester renewal fess(including mess and hostel) reasonable (45k per sem)but it keeps on increasing pg is not requires because hostel is necessary to take

i got admissions in some private colleges and lower branches in nits like food processing etc..but i chosse iiit dwd because of iiit tag and cs related branch which is data science and artifical intelligence ...a trending branch . i couldnt cleared jee advance therefore iit rejected me admission process: 10+2 with pcm is compulsory and admission is through jee mains rank via jossa and csab counseslling

the faculty to student ratio at our college is decent but can vary by department ...generaly faculty is approachable but some are not good at all.there are multiple exams per semester including mid sems quizzes and end terms the curiculum is relevant and aligns with modern industry needs .

gym is avalible 24/7 and canteen is open till 2am in night , library is also 24/7 available , we can roam in campus all night but main gate closing time is 9:30 pm inside campus except pond site there is no such site for hangout since its small campus but outisde there is much..like 100km from college there is go where u can hangout and 70km from college is goakarna beach and various rainfall things where u visit....just outside the collge gate there is resort so u can just go with your friends to enjoy in swimmig pool the locality is generally safe , but roaming late at night is not advised in isolated areas
