Best women's college in the heart of Chennai

Likes

Experienced faculty who puts in efforts to present topics in a better way. They are also friendly.
A lot of ever busy clubs and communities like NSS, NCC, Rotaract, Shakthi Cell etc. Students can explore any of these and use these oppurtunity
This is one of the best college for those who want to learn Visual communication. There are top notch editing studio, audio recording lab

Dislikes

This is a women's college. Most of the inter collegiate event invitations were sent to woman colleges only.
We had Jain catering back then. Which didn't include onion, garlic, potato in food. The food was less flavourful, but decent enough
Any work involving admin office would be delayed unnecessarily.

Placement Experience:

Placements were decent enough. McKinsey, TCS, HCL were one of the top companies. We also had Justdial and few banks that came for recruitment. Average package was around 2.5 lpa. Highest package was by McKinsey - 3 lpa My plans were to pursue MBA, so I didn't apply for placements. McKinsey offered business presentation specialist roles. Just Dial and banks offered customer support roles. 7/10 were placed.

Likes

Faculty were really friendly and encouraging. They were supportive to students and assisted them.
Canteen facility is really amazing. We get great veg food with even jain options.

Dislikes

Water facility is not upto the mark and be improved.
Ventilation methods can be improved for more air flow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is set by University of Madras as this is an affiliated college. They syllabus has been updated recently and focus more on life accepts for the field. They use various books as well as ICT tools to teach students. Exams are conducted as CAT 1 , CAT 2 and finally semester exam.

The placement cell is very active and they ensure that all the students enrolled for placement gets placed. The students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester and the required training are given by the college at the beginning of the 5th semester. The top companies like HCL, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Sutherland etc make their entries for placement.

From the 5th semester, the students will start getting their training for attending their interviews.. The maximum number of students get placed in the campus, the average package for fresher's will be around 1.5L to 2.5L per annum.. Top companies and MNCs mostly comes for recruitment.. And the students are selected based on their talents and skills possessed by them..

Be a Fantastic

Placement Experience:

Here they provided better knowledge like, what are the possible higher studies post completion of UG. Students placement is one of the major advantage. If you registered in Placement cell means, Definitely you get placed atleast in one company. My Plan is to post completion of degree, I wanna do MBA in correspondence (Pondicherry University - Loyola college). And i wanna work in this organisation and i wanna get a happy life.
