Dhanraj Baid Jain College was established in 1972 by the Tamilnadu Educational & Medical Trust and it is affiliated to University of Madras. The College is situated in a sprawling campus, some distance away from the seashore. This college provides the environment which fasters not only the intellectual, but also the personality development. The classes are organized for the students with a view to equip them with necessary soft skill mandatory to face the interviews and come out successful in today's competitive atmosphere. The college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with B++ Grade and Certified ISO 9001:2000.

Library	It has at present 22,000 books and annual subscriptions of 33 periodicals. Ours is the only library among city colleges to take recourse to open access system for the benefit of students.
Computer Lab	The Department is housed in a separate block consisting of 3-floors within the D.B.Jain College premises A spacious software laboratory with 124 computers and other peripherals ISDN – Connection for Internet usage is also available along with the relevant software
Seminar Halls	Air-conditioned Seminar Hall with 250 seating capacity and all other associated facilities which include public – address systems and projection facilities is available in the MCA Block.

A PERFECT MAN

Likes

In my college canteen it's fullfill of joy and enjoyment of our college students and staff
In oru college we have a lots of fundamental research and activities in the classroom and we have lots of caring people and beautiful friends in the college campus
I like my college ambience and nature enthusiasm of our college it have a very long distance walk to the class room by the scenario

Dislikes

My college have a two gates one is main gate and other is secondary gate but the main gate is always close so the students can walk for so long distance
In our college some students or not good personality for and they are having so much issues with the college staffs

Admission:

Actually we are last batch to had the experienced professors. Not sure after that they hired experienced professors or not. This college is like mirror if you choosen good you will get shine, if you choosen bad you will get suffer.
