I am more a all rounder and this college also allows us to play games and events and lets us conduct many sports related events and I like that about this college
The hostel food is also good compared to other hostel food and provides good and tasty food.
The teachers and facilities are very willing to help us, our teachers some times take extra classes even on a holiday if we ask them to clarify us.

Dislikes

The college during the times of exams get kind of very strict and everything so yeah I hate that
The security facilities may sometimes get on our nerves and make problems not every security but some of them
Some faculties are very strict but some are very friendly but the ones that are strict makes me sometimes dislike the facilities

Admission:

I tried for merit but my KEAM(entrance exam) score was low so I didn't got admission at first then I got admission through management quota. The admission process is kind of lengthy and time taking they take some good time taking your information and registering you and yeah the management quota admission was done before I came to here and that's why it took that long and there was not management deposit or anything I only had to pay the yearly fee.

In this college the campus life is quite good and the quality of social interactions are at a high level which makes students more confident and communicative
Some of the college faculties are so experts with so many qualifications such as masters and phDs
The college provides good quality infrastructure and campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

Even though the college offers good infrastructure, they still need to improve in some sectors such as physics labs etc
Even though some of the faculties are experts, some of them are not much experts in their teaching subjects
The college should focus on the extracurricular activities such as cultural days and other festivals.

Admission:

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education. In order to get admission here the individual should qualify an entrance exam such as either keam or jee and also qualify plus two exam in any boards at a higher result.

There is no ragging and other attacks against students.
Pleasant atmosphere and peaceful nature can be enjoy.
Excellent and highly qualified facualities with friendly behaviour.

Dislikes

Strict rules are applied against first year students.
Less non academic programs are conducted by college.

Admission:

This is the college with good placement record and good pass percentage among other KTU Engineering colleges. And it is also an autonomous college. Only few college's have autonomous status in Kerala providing by UGC.

Experienced and highly qualified faculties is for teaching.
Peace and pleasant atmosphere with amazing natural beauty.
High security like CCTV cameras and security guards are surrounded by all time.

Dislikes

Strict rules are applying towards the first year students.
Lack of non academic activities are conducted.

Admission:

Admission process in our college is taken by Kerala engineering entrance examination called KEAM. Students must should be pass keam and should to be get around 40000 rank. Those who are securing around 40000 rank they would get Government quota seat in our college. Management seat is also available such that government seat and management seat are in ratio of 50 : 50 .

There is no ragging in the college campus.
Beautiful campus with clean surroundings and friendly faculties
Access to huge library, labs and workshops

Dislikes

Too much assignment and exams, 3 exams per semester
Strict monitoring of attendance and strict rules on uniform
Cannot cut classes or roam around the campus without tag

Admission:

I took this college because BTech in Ai&ds was only available in Vimal Jyothi, near to my home. And I could travel daily to home from my college and it was pretty affordable. I took the management seat, which is only available for students who scored a pretty good marks in 12th std

Likes

Most of the faculty's are good.they really help as in our studies.
Good facilities like computer lab, different workshops,etc.
It's a ragging free campus.No issue faced based on ragging.

Dislikes

Other programs are not encouraged in collage like Christmas celebration.the only good program is onam celebration.
Other programs like tech fest,arts, sports are conducted yearly but not good as other collages.

Admission:

I applied to this collage because it is said to be the best collage in Malabar side.and also it is the nearest collage for me from my home other than government engineering Collage.Also many people recommend this collage for me.

A good environment for studies as the college is in a calm place in hilly area.
The completion of modules is up-to-date and exams are conducted regularly

Dislikes

The fees structure of the college is little bit high for middle class people

Admission:

I have applied only this college because I felt this is the best. Their academic results were really impressive and facilities are upto mark. Admission process is through management, merit and NRI quota. The students must have qualified in KEAM exam.

My life in vimal Jyothi

Likes

Students in oru college are very interactive and the bond between seniors and juniors are well maintained.
Our college is very strict against ragging and drugs .
The climate , cleanness and environment are very suitable for every students.

Dislikes

Oru college does not give much importance in sports and other extracurricular activities
Every year oru college appoint fresh teachers , due to inexperience we face some some trouble in classes .
Oru college hostel does not provide much freedom to the students and has restrictions in every case compared to other Colleges

Admission:

I had taken admission in this College through NRI quata as I could not attend keam examination.This college was prefered by a colleague of my mother . My whole family was convinced by the accademic brilliance.students can take admission in our college by marks obtained in keam exam , they get alloted by fulfilling the criteria .For the students who get denied from government seat will have the opportunity to get admission through management seat . The students joining through management quata get many scholarship opportunities, the only eligibility for the management seat is to qualify keam exam . If a student failed in keam exam or did not attended keam can join through NRI quata .All the students except scholarship or EWC scheme will have the same fee structure .

My Opinion

Likes

The College has a drug free campus and there is complete protection from the college against all types of drug abuses.All around CCTV cameras are also present for safety measures as well
The hostel as well as the food/mess hall are perfectly managed to perfection, Reducing any type of food uncleanliness and a healthy and tasty food
All the MTech professors are professionals who have been in this field for more than 5 to 6 years and they are very experienced

Dislikes

The college has a restriction in timing of getting back to the hostel. The boys have to get back to the hostel by 6:00pm which is very early
Even though the teachers are professionals, Some of them are very unprofessional in their work and teach very badly and is not very understandable to the students
There are also no Cultural or Ethnical fests in the college. They do not support any sports activities as well

Admission:

I Choose this college because this is a very trustworthy college because of previous connections with the members of the community in the college and also the teacherrs,other faculty members and the management are very supportive and trustworthy so it is more pleasible to accept this college over other college.Some of My Friends have also joined along my side due to the same prestige and good will of the college.I did not apply for other colleges since i was satisfied with this college and didnt want to move to any other college.The admission process was pretty simple as we did not have to worry about any of the problems in the office because they took care of us very calmly and nicely.We had to fill out some forms and pay an advance which was enough for the admission procedure, Later other updations were informed
