VJEC offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs including B.Tech and M.Tech. Institute offers B.Tech programs in ten specializations and is the flagship course. Admission to the B.Tech program is done through the KEAM/JEE Mains Entrance exam. Registration for the KEAM entrance exam usually starts in the month of May. In 2024, KEAM Cutoff ranges from 34212 to 52000. The total fee for the B.Tech program is INR 4 Lakhs.
Besides the B.Tech Program VJEC offers M.Tech programs in two specializations. Admission to the M.Tech program is based on the valid score in the GATE.

Ques. What is the Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech admission at VJEC?
Ans. For admission to the B.Tech program at VJEC, candidates must have completed 10+2 from Kerala Board or an equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Along with this candidate must have qualified in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE),Government of Kerala.
Ques. How are the B.Tech seats allocated at VJEC?
Ans. B.Tech seats allocated are as follows: At Vimal Jyothi Engineering College (VJEC), 50% of the seats in each branch are filled through government allotment based on KEAM scores. An additional 10% of seats are reserved under the community quota by the government. The college also reserves 15% of the seats for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates. The remaining 35% of the seats are available under the management quota and are filled based on merit as per the rank list published by VJEC.

Ans. At VJEC only 50% of the seats are filled through the KEAM and the rest 50% seats are filled through the management quota?
