JGEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

6th semester onwards students are eligible to sit in campus placements many companies like TCS , CTS , INFOSYS , RAKUTEN , CLOUD KAPTAN , NETMEDS , L&T these are some oncampus companies and there are many offcampus companies as well for example AMAZON, MEDIA.NET , MICROSOFT , DISNEY+HOTSTAR , GLODMANNSACHS , GOOGLE , JUS PAY , JP MORGAN , GEEK FOR GEEKS , URBAN LADDER , BHARAT PAY , SWIGGY etc approximately 80% of students get placed well

Right now campus placements are very good for IT and CSE, ECE has few opportunities and civil mechanical are too few they mostly go for the GATE examination for further studies. The environment is not very competitive but in later years some of our juniors have secured huge packages.

Campus Placements of students used to happen but because of the pandemic we are here giving offline placements and preparing from online classes. As far as I know, 50% of my classmates have got placed at different companies with a good package. One of the students got placed at Glassgow Scotland with a package of around 30LPA. The average percentage required to get placed in any company is like 60-70%. I am preparing for Govt job exams and also for different IT companies. All you need is hard work, self-study, and consistent effort so that you can fulfill the company's requirements.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Almost all IT companies are visited for campus placement like google, media.net, infosys Amazon etc. IT and CSE students are getting around 90% placement but core trade is lagging behind and not getting a decent placement. The percentage of placement of core trade is very very low.

The placement of JGEC has improved a lot in recent 3-4 years. Students from the 5th sem onwards become eligible for placements and internships. Several top companies visited the campus this year(2021):- Infosys-32 Cognizant-55 Wipro-7 Accenture-8 Hexaware technologies-2 GFG-1 JP Morgan-1 TCS-58 Tata Power-2 ITD Cementation-6 Markle Sokrati-2 and several others For IT Companies Highest Package on campus was 10 LPA ( role of SDE ) and an average of 4.5 LPA. Highest Package offered on Campus for Core Company was 7 lpa and average of 3 LPA 90% of students got placement from non-core branches. For core branches it was 60% for EE and 50% for ME and CE.
