JDCOEM Faculty

The faculty at the college is highly qualified, with approximately 80% holding PhD degrees, and many have industrial experience. Faculty members possess 6 to 7 years of teaching experience on average, with some having worked in the industry previously. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 30-35 students per teacher. Faculty members are supportive, approachable, and professional, employing various teaching methods, including Bloom's taxonomy. They coordinate industry visits each semester and provide mentorship and guidance at an academic level.

The exam system consists of multiple assessments, including unit tests, mid-semester exams, and end-semester exams, with a marking scheme of 100 marks for theory, converted to 60, and practical/attendance contributing 40 marks. The college encourages extracurricular activities and provides a question bank to assist with exam preparation. Overall, the faculty is committed to enhancing students' learning experiences and skill development.
