The college boasts a highly qualified faculty, with most instructors holding PhDs or MPhils, known for their experience and approachability. With a favorable student-to-staff ratio of 1:8, students receive personalized attention. Exam difficulty varies by subject; chemistry tends to be more challenging, leading to 4-5 students failing, while zoology and botany have higher pass rates with only 1-2 students not clearing them. Each semester includes 5 theory and 3 practical exams.
The college offers affordable tuition, particularly for students who secure merit seats, where fees can be reduced by half. For general category students with management seats, fees are about 25,000 per year, amounting to 75,000 for the entire term, covering lab, tuition, and library costs, and are payable via demand draft. Numerous scholarships are available, with guidance offered by the office staff. Special provisions are made for SC/ST students, who receive reduced fees and are eligible for merit-based scholarships.
