The extracurricular activities were of amaze fun and i loved participating in things that i loved the college always gave me a chance to show case my talent and to be opinionated about what i do . I am thankful about tje college that i studied in mcc
Apart from the extracurriculars the freedom that the college always provided was great the friends that i made was something sooo good and i could not be less thankful . We were allowed to go to other colleges too this made it to be more for the expo
The academic exams where on point and well organised to be able to rush with all the papers and pens and still reach the right class room with the help of support staff a small salute to them well it has been a great journey to be a part of the most

Dislikes

The buildings in the beginning can be too confusing it took me almost an year to figure out the buildings in the right manner me and my friends would always be confused about the blocks and end up in the wrong block which would waste our precious tim
The exam dates can be informed really late sometimes the date are informed just a week before which is really saddening and has to improve other it was fine be cautious about the exam dates and always be ready with the syllabus keep your important q
A few of my classmates were not really interactive and i made friends i shouldnt have made which was a wrong decision but at the end everything happens for a good cause so after that incident i made some beautiful and diamond like friends who willsty

Placement Experience:

The placement cell does a superb job at its own the compines like delloite dell deshaw accenture capgemini etc have always been consistent on coming every year to the campus for the recurtment for the students at all the times the cell works fully for the students from basic package of 3 lpa to 21 llpa the students have been placed on campus placement while at all the times offering help to students the training is given before sitting for the placemts like for about a week or for more than a week it jd usually the training has training of aptitude test english grammer logical reasing wuantitative annalysis and alot more group discussion are also given an importance to the trianging of placmets this is really helpful and should be taken mandatory in order to sit for the placemts and get hired for the job role that you are looking for there are alot more opportunities for the commerce sales and marketing students than the science students it might be a lil trouble but it will happen fir

Mount Carmel college bca review

Likes

The classes are stress free and are purely co-operative
There are totally 65 associations so students can join whatever they want

Dislikes

I don't like the same canteen for puc and degree students because it creates a huge crowd
Seperate lines should be opened for boys.

The campus environment, the canteen, the in college stationery so we don't have to wander around.
The campus Library, it consists of both ebook library as well as in house library and there is also a digital computer room where we can access and use the computers when ever we want.
The sports event, there is a lot of sports events for athletes.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for campus placement right from the first sem, there is no age limit as such The company's that came in our college were EY, de shaw, Accenture, Ditto, Pedal start, Estudio, Global Montessori, MirrAR, Hikeon technologies, Edioak, progress software, Bosch global software, hope, etc. The highest package range from 20 lakhs to 3 lakhs per annum. The minimum criteria of the percentage of students getting placed are 75%, and it also depends on each company the criteria can vary, some company also considers both 10th and puc percentage as well.

Mount Carmel College is one of the finest in Bangalore. It has received star college award for the science department. The campus has a great student crowd with fantastic energy.

The college has good infrastructure. Every class has a hybrid board for presentation. The campus has a lot of uncluttered spaces to socialize and study. The sports facilities are pretty good as well. The basketball and the fields are well-maintained. The campus also has a well-equipped gym.

The professors are well-qualified and helpful. The undergraduate courses taught at the college have a decent balance between theoretical and practical subjects.

Mount Carmel College placements are pretty good. In the recent placement, the median CTC offered to students was INR 3 LPA. The number of companies visiting the campus is increasing each year. Big MNCs like Wipro, Dell, E&Y, JP Morgan, etc. visit the campus drive.

I have a few friends from Mount Carmel College Bangalore. Their experience at the college has been quite good. Here are some snippets of their experience at the college.

Placements: Many reputed companies visit the college to recruit students. In the recent placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered at the institute was 2.95 LPA and 7 LPA. The placement cell also conducts placement training for the students, before the placement drive.
Facilities: The laboratory facilities offered at the institute are quite good. The 1st floor of the LSCB block has all the science labs. The computer labs use all the modern technologies.
Course Curriculum: The course curriculum followed for B.Com is quite good. Teachers use live examples to teach.
Fest: MCC organizes many fests. CulAh is quite reputed in Bangalore.

Overall, doing B.Com from Mount Carmel College is a good option.
